@johnartman You will have to check your caravan manual and see the length of the awning rail and awning length required, if you don't have one the manufacturer's website might be able to help.

Failing that you could put a piece of heavy enough string or rope through the rail from the ground on one end around the rail to the ground at the other end, mark it and then take it out and measure it.

This is from a quick search on google but there are others:

you need to measure the caravan's "A to B" length, which is the distance from one end of the awning rail, around the caravan, to the other end. Bradcot Awnings provides an easy finder tool based on this measurement. SunnCamp also offers Swift Deluxe awnings in various widths, such as 220cm, 260cm, 325cm, and 390cm. Here's how to measure for an awning:

    1. 1. Measure the "A to B" length:Use a string or rope to measure from the ground, vertically below the awning rail at one end, around the rail, and back down to the ground at the other end.
    2. 2. Note the measurement:Once the string is in place, cut it where it meets the ground at the front and measure the length in centimeters.
    3. 3. Use the measurement to find the right awning size:Refer to the awning manufacturer's size chart or online tool to determine the corresponding awning size based on your "A to B" measurement.
