Hi there I am thinking of going to Spain for the wintetsun
What chance have I got of getting on a coastal site in February if I just turn up as I have looked to book through the CAMC site and everywhere is already booked

You could also try their Guardamar site which is closer to the coast, if you don't get lucky then Alannia Costa Blanca is not too far away to fall back on. They are both excellent sites. You can usually get in somewhere if you keep trying and are not too worried about pitch quality. Another large site in the same vicinity is La Marina, not stayed there but being large, it maybe an option.

Although not on the coast (it's 10 miles inland), Alannia Costa Blanca at Catral is a very large site and usually has spare pitches that can be booked direct - have you looked on-line ?
Last year, we couldn't book with the CAMC rally at Alannia as they were full, but managed to get a pitch for 2 weeks by booking direct and we were much closer to the site entrance, so didn't have to walk so far for the shop.
