£1 transaction fee?. . .Geez that’s value added right there in a negative way. It proudly says-‘we are greedy & then some’🙁.

One reason it may be that price being it has all the facilities of a club site and many want all of them ,

How many times have reviews of non facilities sites asked for toilets

What prices are Black Knowl and The Centeanery Sites for the same periods next year?

Don't know, don't care. I prefer the Forest Sites or the CLs.

Got it-it’s a charge for paying to stay there 🤷🏻‍♂️. Why not add-walking stick chg, informal wear, vehicle over 15’x5’, or use of WC.

Apologies to Beaulieu, it's only £41 at the weekend, it's Holkham Hall that's £43🤷🏻‍♂️

    from the notes section....

"Two night minimum stay and £1 transaction fee applies."

The price for Holkham Hall is competitive as the nearest commercial site is Pinewoods at Wells next the sea is £96 for two nights during the same period.

I think you forgot to say in your view? It could be true or not? People should decide for themselves I always think?

Or are you setting yourself up as judge in these matters for everyone?

Isn’t Pinewood part of the Holkham estate? If so, I can’t see the Earl of Leicester being happy to have a pop up site on his land massively undercutting the prices on his own site. Therefore, I think it likely he would rent out the land for the pop up at a rate which would need hefty pitch fees to be charged by the renter to cover the lease cost.

Has the miniature railway from Pinewoods gone as well. The cost of the railway wasn't included in the pitch price, so I don't see the relevance of your post.

The Earl of Leicester is part of this organisations hierarchy?

Not in my view. He is your President which is an honorary role but he is not part of the hierarchical management structure.
