German cl sites?

Are there any small campsites in southern Germany,  similar to cl sites in this country?

    CLs are a purely British phenomenon, so the short answer is No.

    But you can have a look at the Great Little Campsites list from ACSI - though  they mean sites with fewer than 50 pitches. You can also do an an internet search for campsites at farms in Germany - I found a lot of possibilities in France that way - but  none were on the least like a CL with a members only rule, a limit of 5 pitches and a ban on tents. The Cool Camping website might also be worth a look - they often find a few sites which are outside the mainstream.

    Some farms offer facilities similar to CL sites, but on the whole these are nowhere nearly as well organised as in the UK.
