The performance and functionality of CT is appalling. The fact that it has not improved after all this time is a disgrace. Perhaps we should all cancel our direct debits until somebody pulls their finger out and fixes it!

    Morning

It’s only taken 6 attempts to get on this thread this morning! I’m glad I start back to work next Monday, plenty to focus on getting the site ready to open on 31st😎, won’t have time for server errors☹️

I just don't understand how this situation has been allowed to persist for so long? Surely the Club are aware of how dire the performance of Club Together is? Its taken 10/15 minutes to get into this thread and read the replies. If these problems are due to the new booking system why not say so? If the Club are serious about having a members forum then it needs to be moved to its own platform. I have been a long time member of several other forums and I don't even need the fingers on one hand to count the number of times they have experienced problems in the past ten years!

    David

    PS Edit

Since posting this I have been able to go through the forum without an issue which is frustrating in itself because it is so inconsistent.

Am 100 pct agreement, currently i give this forum one shot per day if i get those constant errors i give up, tried this morning whilst waiting for washer to finish and here I am.

Unfortunately i feel that if we all cancelled our direct debits it would have very little impact on club revenues, if you check this forum the majority of users are old coddgers who have been on here since time began, and tend to use the much more cost effective CL network rather than the overpriced club sites.

I think most of the newbies, or younger generation are on FB where I am told the club are much more responsive

Reading the posts, especially the recent ones it isn't just CT.

See takethedogalongs post above from 1934 yesterday. It was the whole site and the phone situation appears as dire - if that is possible?

Certainly not a good shop window for a multi-million leisure industry company....

Edit rufus maybe the responses on Facebook are because it's not their own system and works very efficiently?? Sad state of affairs if it is  and Facebook isn't like a forum. Maybe you can book sites via fb? And the intention is to let this website whither on the vine?

I thought that our illusive Community Manager might have made  comment here when she logged in to remark on Hillhead's faux pas .... 🙄🙄

For service to it's members this site is absolutely disgusting. When the Managers sit at the dinner table with their knives and forks in their hands, they need to think who has put their dinner on the table. Impossible to log into for most of the day again!. Still it doesn't seem to concern them.

It’s the Directors, rather than Managers, you need to address if you feel that strongly, ADP.

    Has anyone done that yet?

I tried twice this evening twice....couldn't. The Directors will probably less interested than the managers that are paid to manage. I am sure I am not the only one with these feelings.

I tried twice this evening when I was able to log on and could not get the link. I am sure the Directors will care less than the people they pay to Manage. Surely I am not the only one that feels so strongly about it when I read other's comments on Server Errors.

    It’s there now. Contact us - compliments/feedback/complaints.

I think you need to approach it in a positive way rather than assume defeat before you start. It also depends how much the situation bothers you and it seems you feel strongly so go for it.

And the intention is to let this website whither on the vine?

Bakers, I've been saying this for months now, and regardless of the denials posted by Rowena, I still believe it to be the case and the lack of anybody from HO bothering to respond to this post just confirms it IMHO.

    T W

        I am positively not a defeatist !

Upon reading my previous posts you will also see I have not just started.

On a previous post you seem to accept it is par for the course for the Club's performance.

Finally it annoys me that I don't get what I pay for and the people that I pay don't care.

As for it being there now.....it should be there all the time and probably isn't there now         anyway. However I don't care because I have lost interest and haven't the time or inclination to pursue the matter further.

Yes know you have and I tend to agree especially with regard to CT.

But I think the whole website is going the way we are discussing the state of CT on this thread. If you read posts on here and other new  threads regarding lack of visible correct up to date site info, THIS It appears the site is open and current info out of date and the club's response "will be updating the information soon"

Getting response from head office and sites by phone see a recent post by takethedogalong on page 33.

The whole website, not just CT was down this afternoon, and Sites are not taking calls, although after listening to a 5 minute message, you might get a call back if they have time. I have no gripe with Site staff, they will be doing their best.

There's even a thread that was started about trying to buy insurance, still awaiting to hear on 'call back' HERE

It certainly doesn't show the club in a good light. The ambivalence showed on this thread doesn't even show they're reactive let alone proactive and forward looking.....

If the essential maintenance last night was intended to improve things, it failed miserably. Just took 5 minutes to get into this thread.☹️

Again, I agree wholeheartedly, B2. It's a complete shambles. Like tda I feel sorry for all the CL owners, who are missing out on potential booking because the likes of us can't get onto a properly working web site.

So this afternoon, only opened up Look for Site by map facility.  From there trying to look at a number of  CLs, one after another, as you do when considering touring a particular area (in this case Suffolk). After the first one, returned to the map, selected a second, allowed me to view the summary that comes up, but couldnt load to the actual site - server error.

This evening, just took ages to get onto CT once I had logged on.   Didnt time it, because a I viewed another web site whilst waiting. That loaded quickly, and allowed me to view a number of different pages, speedily with NO issues.

Well it’s 4am!! For some reason I am awake so browsing CT. It’s running really slow and takes an age to move from page to page. What’s going to happen when new booking system goes live?

Yesterday everything seemed to be running very smoothly and I had reason to hope they had done something to sort it. However, today it’s as bad as ever.☹️

8.00 - straight in, not too slow. 9.30 - server error. 9.35- straight in. Some threads quicker to load than others?
