It does indeed. Shame Boris wasn’t a bit more clued up when he said a few days ago “we will be making plans to include it”. I would have thought they might have publicised the fact a bit more. It can only have a beneficial affect on booster uptake.

One thing that I am not sure of. On the domestic pass you just get the one QR code, but on the travel you get 3, on for each jab. Do you just need the third one, or do you require all 3.

Great news, I'm guessing at some stage Scotland will follow suit undecided

The good news is that if you have your NHS covid record online you can upload this directly to the French Anticovid site which means in terms of any French visits your "Pass Sanitaire now shows both your two initial jabs and the third booster. I set mine up yesterday, very easy.

Ive just downloaded the French app and it seems to be similar to the uk pinging app...using gps etc...

is this the same app you're using to import the qr codes?

David, I've got these two at the top....I downloaded the top one (most convincing name) and it's the pinging job...

the one underneath seems to be a code verification app with qr reading?

I realise I can use the uk app...or even a print out or photo but just wanted to see the French app in action

Yes, that logo is similar, did you have to accept sharing data (for the pinging) and turn on Bluetooth to connect with all other users...?

just checking I have the correct app (Apple store)

    ok, got it thanks👍

Remember, the PasseSanitaire is a document required for access to restaurants etc.

The required document to enter France or travel through is the NHS Covid Pass.  Not the same thing as I understand it.

Anyone over 65 travelling to France after the date in December needs to find out if they need the booster to be on their NHS Covid Pass, to gain entry to France.

And if they can’t get a Passe Sanitaire because the booster isn’t shown, they’ll have to self-cater instead of dining out.

We have just been to and from Brittany without obtaining a Passe Sanitaire as we weren’t intending to go to any venues where it is required.

Ive uploaded the health pass...lots of ticks and OK...etc...stored in the wallet.

however, I've deactivated the 'pinging' element at the top of the photo...dont want to be overrun with messages...

The NHS App is the UK equivalent of the Passe Sanitaire, and is required in the same places.  Scanning to enter venues can be of either the Tousanticovid App or the NHS App.  The NHS App now shows the third QR code for the booster vaccination. The Passe Sanitaire/NHS App is required for larger campsites, many hotels, all bars and restaurants, and (in our case) our large shopping mall and large 'events'.  Without either the Passe Sanitaire of NHS App we woudn't have been able to do our 'big shop'.

There are advantages to having Tousanticovid but the NHS app works equally well.
