Good luck for tomorrow. I can't offer any help and wonder if you may have to be the pioneer that tells ussmile

    Not going to happentongue-out

We fully intend to enjoy it thanks wouldn't be going otherwise.cool

All reports coming back is that sites nice and quiet, all feeling good and safe, folk happy to see us.

Compare that to sites full, roads busy, towns rammed and numbers going higher every day.

Well, we handed over sworn statement and official NHS vaccination certs at French passport control, neither pieces of paper were looked at properly. Passport was stamped.

    No checks for food.

Most important tip so far, download the french sanitaire app and copy your QR code from the NHS App. All campsites and restaurants so far have asked for proof of vaccination.

AD, thanks for that. Looking forward to getting over there. Enjoy and keep in touch.

lesandang, good info thanks, we have all the forms done and printed out.

Unfortunately Scotland still haven't managed to produce a digital version of the vaccination certificateyell  so can't do the French app. We have been in touch with them and sent them copies of everything we have but have heard nothing back.

Tammygirl, I would think that if you can print the QR codes from the NHS app you probably will be OK. These do expire however but are going to cross that bridge when we come to it.

Hi David, Apologies, but should I be saying Hola or Bonjour?!!

Hope that you are having a great trip and seems that you are having the weather that we all crave-been good here this week-able to sit out till at least 9pm-but not looking that great for our rally starting a week today.

Saw the comments you made re transiting Italy and, having always thought of Italian tolls as "a lot less than France" so not an issue was surprised to see the likely tolls cost of our hoped for trip to Trasimeno next year.

Add in the quoted prices for BF and its going to be a fair bit more than pre 2020.

I am now peddling the line that, as the fixed costs are higher, we need to go for longer to get best value!

    Enjoy your holiday!!

There lies the problem, the Scottish certificate doesn't have a QR code on it yell
