Best sites on way back to Calais from Vendeé coast
Hi, restrictions permitted (please) we will be travelling back towards Calais from 7th Aug 21, for ferry on 14th Aug 21.
Any recommended coastal sites on way back. Any suggestions appreciated travelling with wife and 16 yr old daughter plus towing caravan

I'd start by heading east into the Loire. About 8 miles south of Amboise, where Leonardo Da Vinci spent his last days, is our favourite site Le Moulin Fort. It is in the C&MC book and also on the ACSI list. https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/overseas/france/centre/le-moulin-fort/
It is a very attractive riverside site with a chateau within a few hundred yards, a couple of villages along the river, wineries near by etc
From here it is an easy 6 hrs to Calais on mainly non toll roads via Dreux up to Rouen and then toll road to Calais. WE do this in one go, but you may wish to split your trip.

Hi, difficult to advise with so little info, however at that time of year coastal sites will be busy so maybe booking up one, or two, sites the best idea if possible but many have minimum stays in peak season.
I think I would choose somewhere within an easy days drive of Calais.

Seven nights via the coast to get back to Calais ? My suggestion would be as follows:
Two nights near Mont St Michel to allow a day to see the abbey - all sorts of sites in the area from simple to elaborate. Choose from reviews on UKCampsites.co.uk
Over the big bridge across the estuary to the municipal site at Etretat for four nights - an attractive stretch of coast which the Impressionist artists often painted.
Final night in Calais itself - either the new municipal site which still looks a bit stark, or our own old regular spot right by the beach at Camping Fort Lapin at Bleriot Plage.
Then a slap up evening meal if you have money left at Restaurant Cote d'Argent in the town - again right by the beach with parking at the door.
