    It’s a while since it has run this slowly. I assume a rubber band has snapped.

    I've found it to be slow all day when I've looked in....... I can't recall it being as slow as this

    It has been slow most of the day, now all my bookings have dissapeared , hope they come back. It took a long time to get a tour together for july I expect my earlier booking to gift from the 6th April

    Both clubs have malfunctioning web sites at present, not good.

    Bad timing yesterday with the DG chat on line we need  updates and statements not chats...imho.

    Club should be ashamed though. Big organisation like this should be able to provide a better service.

    Recently in a post re the 'end of life' adobe software 'flash player'....I commented then that the lack of support / updates to CT are completely unacceptable for an organisation of this size....and that 'working from home / remotely' is not a valid excuse..

    btw Rowena..any update on the replacement scripts for the now EoL 'Flash Player'....

    Looks like someone is embarrassed  by the performance of the Club today. Surely they cannot believe it is anything but very poor and unacceptable for the "leading touring organisation"

    I had to wait in a queue to make a booking, this morning - so obviously the site is under pressure.  As others have said, an organisation of this size ought to be able to offer a better service than this - especially given the number of times the site is down for 'essential maintenance'.  I've never known another site get so much 'maintenance' yet be so rubbish.

    since the way out of lockdown was announced yesterday the site booking pages have been altered to a later opening date for sites and i have been in a queue to make several later bookings ,so it seems as the DG advised the cork has popped  from the bottlesurprised

    and not just the cc site eithercool

    Working from home hasn't impacted on the operation of the site. It was dysfunctional long before Covid.

    Brittany Ferries site also very slow....took a good 30 mins to amend my May/June booking..

    Probably done some maintanance and as the powers at be don't know what they are doing going forward they seem to go backwards all the time.

    I have found the site appallingly slow ever since I joined the club, has nothing to do with increase in bookings with expectations of lockdown ending, is always like it no matter what time of day I log in.....

    I belong to a Prestige car club whose site is far superior but then perhaps it has to compete with the speed of their cars.... winksmile

    It is bad at the moment. Not just the forum either, the whole site. Not a good selling window, very frustrating. Even if it’s down to lots of extra online traffic, it merely highlights how fragile set up is, other websites I am using have no such issues.☹️

    It was far worse than usual yesterday to the extent of being almost unusable. It's not always that bad.

    It was slick first thing this morning but now it's back to its normal slow speed. 😕

    I commented on another thread that CAMC facebook pages stated they'd been inundated with bookings so I would guess the capacity of the site is limited at present.

    I logged on last night to cancel my Easter booking and it was painful.  I was going to have a browse around but gave up in the end.  Slightly better this morning but it really isn't good enough.

    How often are POI's for CL's updated. A number are missing and wonder if a date could be incorporated on the spreadsheet

    Has anyone else found that the site seems to have slowed down again? There've been quite a few server errors in Latest Activity again over the last few days.
