RIP Captain Sir Tom Moore
Saddened to hear that Captain Sir Tom has been admitted to hospital with breathing problems following his positive test for C19 last week.

He was an absolute legend and a true gentleman. He has been such an inspiration to us all and raised our spirits during this difficult year. RIP 😪

He was a wonderful Human being who put others before himself, that is worth something in this day & age. He will be missed yet remembered by so many people around the world that didn’t know him, me being one of them.

Have to agree with all that has been said about this very Fine and Honourable Gentleman. A very sad ending to a cracking good year of raising money for a favoured charity without a single mention of 'ME' but the ability to raise a smile for himself as well as for the rest of us.
R.I.P. Captain Sir Tom.
{ Thanks to which ever MOD amended my O.P Title }

A true legend, the likes of which will never be seen again. Inspirational man who deserves every accolade either written or spoken. He wore his medals with pride.....there were just not enough bestowed upon him.
Nice to see HM the Queen leading the tributes.
RIP

A man with great spirit and what a final year he had! A great loss to all of us.

He epitomised his generation. Positive in the face of adversity, focussed on achieving, generous and kind hearted. He certainly had a marvellous last year, helped by his loving family around him. Sad that he has gone, but he leaves such a legacy in more ways than one.

It is a great shame that certain people,including a "person" of the cloth have to spoil everything that he achieved!!!Just bear in mind the thought that I shall take with me on my remaining journey through life........Today will be a good day. RIP Sir.
