Great man and hope his legacy carries on as it seems it inspired many more to go the extra distances which has helped them to hopefully feel  better in themselves

He was a wonderful Human being who put others before himself, that is worth something in this day & age. He will be missed yet remembered by so many people around the world that didn’t know him, me being one of them.

Have to agree with all that has been said about this very Fine and Honourable Gentleman. A very sad ending to a cracking good year of raising money for a favoured charity without a single mention of 'ME' but the ability to raise a smile for himself as well as for the rest of us.

    R.I.P.   Captain Sir Tom.

A true legend, the likes of which will never be seen again. Inspirational man who deserves every accolade either written or spoken. He wore his medals with pride.....there were just not enough bestowed upon him.

Nice to see HM the Queen leading the tributes.

    RIP

He epitomised his generation. Positive in the face of adversity, focussed on achieving, generous and kind hearted. He certainly had a marvellous last year, helped by his loving family around him. Sad that he has gone, but he leaves such a legacy in more ways than one.

Yes I concur with your sentiments.

What is farcical though is the online petition to award him a state funeral. Let's try and keep it in perspective.

It is a great shame that certain people, including a "person" of the cloth have to spoil everything that he achieved!!!Just bear in mind the thought that I shall take with me on my remaining journey through life........Today will be a good day. RIP Sir.
