I paid £2 each Navigateur.... and got another 10% off with 'the code' , and they come with a nice bag..... but still very expensive!  😃  Good idea about the litre bottles.  I'll see how they go....  When we eventually manage to get out in the van next, I'll let folk know how I get on with them.

When you try, just cut a curve into the edge of the bottle to keep the hose in place, and fill bottle with water or stones to keep it stable.

I had an on line musical evening of sorts yesterday. I watched the Lark Ascending being played on the anniversary of the first concert in Bristol. I put a link on the "what have you been doing" thread. Later on I looked in on Sky Arts on Freeview and watched "A Brass Band Wonderland" a very Christmassy/jazzy evening broadcast a few years ago from the Peak Cavern in Derbys. Fabulous playing, what a setting, glad the roof stayed up...wink It's being repeated or you can watch it on line. Here's a LINK

Thanks for that Brue.  Unfortunately, I won't get to see it on Sunday morning as it will clash with the service here at the Abbey, but have bookmarked it to listen to later.  Looks good.  👍👍

Tonight is the Doorstep Carols, and then another online 'Carol Concert', which under normal circumstances I would have been doing in person!  Never mind.... hopefully next year.

In the meantime, someone sent me this.... 😀

Hope that he's had his covid test, that it is negative, and also been given his vaccination too.

And on the strength of that comment I'll wash the tea cup and say Good Night  and please stay safe & well  kiss

Good grief... was that racing with a caravan on the back of the car, around half way through?!!  (- I couldn't put the sound on as Carol is watching an old James Bond film!)  I wonder if those caravans leak like some of the newer ones.  😃😃  However, there doesn't look like much clearance above some of those caravan wheels.  Perhaps a colapsed axle isn't such a  new phenomenon.

ABM would be proud of me.  I've ordered a load of Snowdonia Cheese to be delivered to various relatives for Christmas Presents.  It just had to be something deliverable as we won't be meeting up other than on Zoom...  😃😃😃

Well not many Christmassy avatars on display. Are we all afraid of being stuck and looking like Rudolph or Santa all year?

That mound of pumpkin Avatar stuck around for a while!

    wink       kiss

Sorry, Brue, I didn't mean to be unkind, it's just that I'm struggling with these blooming varifocals, so I've gone back to the olde tyme bi-focals  and life seems better now.

Saw one of the 'up-thread' videos of caravanners, some of whom were towing with cars afloat !!

Not seen any of those for yonks, brought back a good few memories I assure you  smile !!

Noticed your comments David wrt you 'spreading the good cheese'  if not actually  the 'Good Word'  --  You can't upset me know, cos road works on the A530 'tween Middlewich and Nantwich are long finished so my access to local supplier, Minshall's Garden Centre is fully restored  so tongue-out .
