We have been to two cc sites last week one was using the system of bands issued on booking in at office the other with bands in antivirol solution outside facilitiy block on neither site did we encounter queues and both systems seemed to be working without problems
The staff on both sites seemed to have every thing well under control

Well, we're just coming to the end of our stay at our last site - Briarsfield, Cheltenham.
A nice little site (adults only), but I can't recall ever being on such a noisy site.... traffic from the A40 and M5 (to be honest, we were expecting this because of the proximity), but we must be close to the local hospital as ambulances with sirens are a common feature..... and we must be close to an air field... lots of small planes going over.... helicopters too! Mind you, I think we've got used to them now.
Restricted entry to reception, they asked us to restrict toilet block to 3 people, but no real 'system' as such. Security barrier is Automatic Numberplate Recognition. Apart from that just some hand sanitizer around toilet block and CDP.
Windy and wet yesterday, but today - our last full day, looks as if it could be nice and sunny, even if a touch breezy.... Home tomorrow....

We had our second short break at the Southport club site at the weekend.
Still as well organised as the first one in July with one of the managers waiting by barrier with his clipboard, waving you through do you can pitch up then return to the office to pay/collect fob, bands etc,
One change is that there are now 6 hooks outside the toilet block. Still only 2 each of the showers, WC and wash cubicles open but a much more sensible approach.
Never saw a queue outside the Ladies’ but the agents frequently had a short queue outside - I’m not sure what that signifies

A long time (August) since anyone posted any update on this thread so I thought I would. We have been away since 13th September until now at 4 Club sites, some Memeber's only, Scarborough West Ayton, Clumber Park, Poolsbrook Country Park and Castleton. The rules have changed re numbers allowed into the facilities since our last visit in July to Henley and now it is 5/6 at a time, generally one less for the men than the ladies. Different systems in place using the bands and from observation I think many campers are using the facilities rather than the belief that people are using their own facilities. Pot washing and laundries were being well used too although we did not use them so have no comments about how they are working. In general everything is working as it should but some people are making mistakes with ignoring the numbers and more going in than allowed, particularly to use the toilets, and many leave their bands on the hooks after they leave so you need to be mindful of this. Despite all this I felt relatively safe throughout and the wardens were clearly working hard to maintain safety and cleanliness. I tend to go shower etc at 0730 each day and can say I never had to queue once throughout and no one was ever queuing outside when I left. I did see queues for both the toilets around 0945 at Poolsbrook as they were closed from 1000 to be cleaned, or that may have been 1015 for 1030 closure. Hope this helps anyone thinking of going camping
