It has been very slow these few days and wondered if the system was getting overloaded with those who think they can only now book sites undecided

The site is very slow with a big time lag for posts being added. I presume people are booking lots of sites?

Although 'error' msgs seem to have stopped this the slowest site that I visit.  It is just not good enough these days and the IT dept need to get a grip of it.

Slow or what.  For goodness sake CAMC get this website sorted! I've just liked a post and it took the best part of 30 seconds to get me back to being able to write this comment!!

The magazine came yesterday and the club could save money on that. No camping so nothing of interest in it!  What a complete waste of money sending it out.  They should have suspended publication during the lockdown and brought in an online version that was, at least, informative!  But then, oh the website is rubbish so it wouldn't have worked!!

Agree the site is ridiculously slow, cannot be bothered to follow most threads as a result.

The magazine was a waste of time, too full of adverts. Took me all of 4 minutes to flick through it and settle on the puzzle page for some entertainment. I must be getting desperate.

I presume the time  delays are why an inappropriate  post got under the radar on a newly closed thread.  Not the best of mornings on here all round. frown

The response times of the site do make a geriatric snail with a zimmer frame look like Usain Bolt.

You need to get out of bed a bit earlier, just 12 hrs on from your post and all is ok, but have to admit it does slow down considerably as the day goes on

It could well be another slow down problem is the amount of "traffic"on the club website since the lock down has been "eased" there has been a queue for bookings several times today

Haven said they were getting booking enquiries every 17seconds on their website

Have lost posts this evening, difficult to tell if the site is updating as it's very slow and unsteady.

Indeed, I have been loosing posts and edits for several minutes. Although they eventually appear. I realise it is a known issue. It has happened occasionally before but this is much worse.

I have found that sometimes posts seem not to appear having gone through the normal process. However if the refresh the page the post appears.

Don’t know why I bother, have just penned a reply to the new Bristol site topic and it has not appeared in the discussion. This ‘club’ gets worse

About herringbone pitching? It’s there but you're being too hasty. If you dig back through this thread, you'll find the explanation.

Yes, up to 2 minutes for a post to appear, the wonder of modern technology, I wonder when the club will start using it surprised

The biggest problem for me is the speed ,it’s very slow still but never really had a problem with posting.
