    Hi all

Apologies for the lack of updates from me lately.

As I've mentioned previously, the main part of my job is managing the internal software/hardware support for CAMC staff (head office and sites network), not the maintenance of the website. As you can imagine, it's been extremely busy over the past fortnight, trying to make sure everything is up and running - particularly for our sites network staff, returning from furlough.

What I can say with regards to website performance is the technical teams involved are still meeting and discussing ways forward. The next technical meeting is Monday afternoon, so I hope to be able to give you a bit more detail on Tuesday.

Obviously, the focus today (and over the weekend) is to make sure our sites staff are able to deal with the high levels of members arriving on our English sites.

If anyone reading this is going away this weekend, I wish you a great getaway and I hope your arrival process goes as smoothly as possible!

    Have a good weekend.

    Justin

    Thanks for the update Justin.

One item for the Monday meeting. Since the essential maintenance this morning, I am getting and internal service error when I try to access latest activity.

Although just tried it again and it's now working.

Perhaps it was just a bit slow waking up.😂

    Hi Justin.

The server error message appeared in Latest Activity somewhere around 2300-2330 last night and was still there until about 30 mins ago.

Hope your weekend is trouble free. 👍

Thanks for the update, while frustrating for me (us?) I can appreciate that making sure things run well for wardens and those booking in takes precedence.

Plus-tap the refresh tab circular icon with an arrowhead top right of screen if your post doesn’t appear-it works for me👍🏻

Might I suggest binning the whole thing and starting again from scratch. The present system is clearly so bug-ridden, it's never going to work properly. It hasn't been fixed in almost four years.

Well done Justin👍keep up the good work chaps and chapesses👏👏. So relaxing to use, laid back and drink coffee whilst waiting for something to happen😊 Good for the heart and stress levels, haven't been to see the Doc in months and it's free as well😁

Soon solved. Band-aid plasters are the problem. Elastoplast  fabric is what is needed.

I doubt that it is but I dread of think of the intensity of their complaints about something that matters.

The prestige of using a CAMC website no doubt

Could be the nature of the posts on a forum paid for by the club membership.
