It can't be that the number of posts on CT are upsetting c the system as before we ever had an upgrade there were a,lot more post in total and the system ran much better than it dies now. I blame HO for the change of logo from the CC what's done it!!laughing

It gets worse, NL the DG pleads with us for our money but not willing spend it to cure the damn web site. As every day passes it tells me my decision not renew my membership and go with the other club lock stock a barrel

Currently for me it's the best it's been for over a week. Really fast. Might be because there are only a few on here. Time will tell.😀

More essential maintenance last night. So much 'essential' maintenance???

Just before and constantly since I can't get the latest replies on the What are you all up to today thread.

I keep it as an open tab, so it opens, usually on the last page I viewed. Clicking on the single, next page arrow or the double arrow last page I get the server effort. I made the mistake of login on that thread and am now stuck on the first page and face individually clicking next page after scrolling to the bottom of the page. Far too tedious 😱🤐

Am I alone in this? As far as I know its only that thread that this is happening to me, other open tabs are behaving as I would expect. More sticking plasters please!

Edit I wrote a reply on the thread, and pressed reply so is it there? Possibly possibly not 😉, no idea whether it is there on the page that contains the posts including 36497. Mine and others or not

Same as you Bakers, on go to last page or >> I get a server error. Although I can advance several pages at a time.

Site is slowing down a lot now as more join.☹️

Edit it seems to be the last page that is fried. If you click on ADD the last poster and go onto there activity, you can't get the last post but you can get onto one the page before.

The answer is either they don’t know how ,or they don’t want too , I think the latter

I know nuffin but it seems logical to me that 'What are you all up to' is so huge it might make sense to bin it and start afresh to save storage space. 🤷‍♂️

The answer is accept it or save your sanity & don’t use it. To use it & continue to complain is just stressing yourself🤷🏻‍♂️. I accept it for what it is if I needed it to enhance my life it’d fail but it’s just an aside👍🏻😊

It's a bit like the folk who constantly complain about pitch fees yet still pay them. 🤷‍♂️

I don’t get stressed, but if something is supposed to work ,then it should work , or is it because it’s a club thing we have to accept it

The information we were given yesterday seemed to be suggesting the available brain power (CPU) was the problem, rather than the storage. The OH's  iphone has the opposite problem the CPU is still fast enough, she has just used up all the storage.😂 However, as it seems to be fried, a new start for the thread may be the best option.

Always buy an iPhone one size up in storage terms than you think you will need. That's my tip. Alternatively, go Android.

Srorage/brain, who knows? I said i know nuffin.

I thought the CT bit, as a whole, ran separately from the main web site but there are problems with both so I presume it's not a capacity issue. Wasn't merging mentioned? I hope things improve as the club has just encouraged bookings to start with gusto! wink

Whatever, I'm still getting server errors.

I don’t make the rules & neither does C&MC you do re your life. I’m a person who chooses what I like, if I stop liking it I stop choosing It, I don’t like stress. I’m not the one who thinks whining is the solution ever. Your life your call👍🏻😊

I must admit that last night at around 8.00pm I gave up on the forum because it wasn't going anywhere. This morning I was able to navigate through the posts with no issue but then realised I wasn't signed in. As soon as I signed in I got a server error!!!

anything is better than yesterday, but early days, as the servers take on more work and the more the CPU gets backed up then it will gradually come to a grinding haltundecided

First time ever I have been held in a queue online when looking at available site bookings, though must admit to not being a prolific booker of CAMC club sites. As the forum is integrated with the main website it seems all available resources are directed towards the bookings.

Never received 'Server' errors on the main website but go into discussions and its littered with them.

more server errors than actual pages, they may as well take the site of line till they can afford to fix it properly.

I said exactly the same a couple of days ago, but some seem to think they cannot do without no matter how bad it may be undecided

Not at all, limiting my time now, but even you have to admit that this web site is now an embarrassment, and to allow it to continue for almost a week now i think is terrible. I am actually in the process of doing some free-lance work , so if the weather is not great i am at my pc for long periods, so i jump in and out of CT as and when.

I'm not really tech savvy but what puzzles me greatly is hiw you can spend so much time taking the forum offline for maintenance and put it back so much worse.

This website is pretty much what it's been for years. It’s easy to tell you’re a relative newcomer🤣🤣
