July opening

Just wonder how they will inform us. They haven't been very good at that so far unless you buy Practical Caravan or read Facebook but they've put nothing on here.
Perhaps if things do happen on the 4th then they might notify us on here the night before.
Communication by the club on virus issues has been poor to say the least

Can’t recall ever seeing a stressed Warden. (Apart from the Traveller invasion at Exeter Racecourse🤔) The stress is usually all in the queue, that gut wrenching moment when you find that the only pitch free is either by the dog walk for those who dislike dogs, the playground for those who just want peace and quiet, or that scrubby little patch that is really a short cut to the bogs.😂
Have to agree on the communication front Harry. Clubs last statement was on 11th April, saying there would be further updates in following days......perhaps they meant weeks🤔

Very likely. You’ll find out one day. 😀

We live in Wales and are 2 weeks behind England even if they do open sites on the 1st or 4th July we won't be going anywhere until the 18th July then there is no point going if we can't get out of Wales 3 week holiday then is out of the question as all of August is full. Have to wait until September. One question I would like to ask is, when the sites are open and you leave to go out and about sightseeing and you want the toilet where do you go?? Do you take a porta potty

That's a huge benefit of having a MH. 👍

Don’t you believe it Mikey. Parking up a MH is very much a “Club” thing. Lots of folks use them daily out and about when away..

I would think they are hoping the government will provide protocols for opening facilities on sites once Boris and his crew get round to it. So why second guess and postulate about reductions? May be some are a tad premature in their assumptions!

I never leave site without it. Can't see the point in not taking full advantage of its mobility. Have engine, will travel.👍🏻

Where white van man can normally get , so can any panel van conversion
,But then the majority of MC owners it seems, want the space of a caravan ,which is not so versatile when in the motorised versions ,hence more of them tend to stay put when on sites,

Only those that make the mistake of buying something too large JV😂 Not everyone drops the same clanger you did🤣

We have booked Sandringham from the 5th of July been booked since January, don't think it will be open, normally takes a week to reopen sites for the new season. Don't hold much hope that the club will fetch wardens back till the government, announces reopening of hospitalities, mind you they allowed certain sports out of lockdown earlier than the date that was first announced

Take no notice, TDA. it’s the same old. 🙄

You've said "I think" twice in that post JV.
Just for info, we are all still on contracts, can't be furloughed without one!
I can't give any information on here as I'd like them to keep hold of my p45!!
The info I can give is, arrival time on opening day will remain as stated in the handbook. It will be a very different "new normal" to what we've been used to.

My neighbour works for one of our local dealers and is currently furloughed.
I saw him this morning and he told me he's back to work on July 4th as they've apparently been told that sites will be opening then.
He didn't specifically mention CAMC sites. Make of that what you will.

Nothing really to make of that at all is there! We all know very well that the 4th July is nothing more than a possible target date for opening, subject to Boris and crew giving their permission and their associated stipulations as to how to do so (¿safely?).
