Good for you, David👍🏻. You know it makes sense.

What about them?🤔

No why lobby when the club can plead for more money from members ( not extending Membership and selling vouchers where they can recoup the discount they offer by increasing prices )

Part of that is due to a much higher rate of testing in Barrow, 2-3 times more than the rest of the N.West, and also a higher level of older people compared to the national average. The number of infections so far equates to 0.88% of the local population, compared to the national average of 0.73%.

Good thanks, I’d hate it if you came across all teachery🤣🤣🤣

With the schools having been subject to lockdown and some confusion as to when they will resume, the concept of the "school holiday period" has gone out the window this year. Even when teaching resumes, I wouldn't be at all surprised at families taking children out of school to get their summer break away.
Assuming there is some sort of normality restored in two or three months, I wouldn't bet on a "low season" before the back end of October.

Apparently PHE and Cambridge University have calculated that the R rate in London is now only 0.4 whereas in other parts of the country it is twice that. I wonder if Londoners will start moaning about the people with second homes returning to London (possibly bringing the virus with them) as the villagers moaned when they arrived there.

Compo, exactly my earlier point....
folk are casually quoting 'higher infection rates' for 'large cities' when they dont know (or understand) what they are..

Posts on this were more about people travelling in high numbers from different areas and mixing together. It is pretty obvious that the more people in an area the quicker the spread. For example NZ with a very low population, and quick reaction, less the spread. If the London figures are dropping that's good news, let's hope it stays that way when people have to start using the tube.I see the Cotswold tourist villages are now asking people to stay away.

I am just imagining being on a UK site with all the bad tempered “don’t really want to be here types........”
another reasonable choice for staying home at the moment, methinks.🤔😂

I think I'd fall into that category, TDA. I'd best stay at home too😄

You need to talk to the Club direct GR. I am sure a good few on here will be in the same situation, many like you wanting access.
If the Club thought hard about it, I am sure they could sort something out. Arrange a day, a time slot, limited time in compound, quick in and out. Not everyone would feel the need to visit. One person on gate, just for one day each storage site, strict instructions not to arrive early.
Doesn't have to be a Warden, could be Area Managers. Club gets lots of income from storage.

I pointed you at the last club statement, GR.
As TDA said, take it up with the club and, also, check out similar threads, one of which contains a post from Rowena on the subject.

I quite agree. Broadway in the Cotswolds is one of my favourite sites, but there is no way I would want to visit at the moment, even if it was open. Mind you, I sometimes get that " I don't want you to be here" feeling from some, even when things are good.

😁 I am sure you would be fine.
