Found in the grounds of a French Chateau and to do with Poetry, believe it or not.

This is what you are missing AD. A wonderful evening dining traditionally in restaurant in a small village set high on a mountain side.

    Not Escape to the Country.

In fairness, although in older series the house itself was visible, these days you just see the steps leading down to the river frontage. The same programme intro features a shot of Tredegar House which you'll recognise if you've ever visited the club site.

Could be the Antques Road Show then although I have not been to Tredeger for many years.

If you get there next year it is near Split and I can recommend Camping Strobec as a base but do take a taxi to the restaurant. The wine is unlimited.

This is how the lamb is slow cooked, in a charcoal oven.

Yes, that's it - you just get a glimpse of the steps leading down to the waterfront where they're loading a potentially priceless masterpiece into a little boat! One of the show's resident experts lives there - not sure I should name names on a public forum though! wink

It might help to narrow it down, I'll let it ride for a while. How about this one.Came across it looking for a pic of a steam train which runs by it. Answers tomorrow, off to watch Gordon, Gino and Fred.

I’d say North Norfolk, but maybe that’s too obvious. So, Chesil Bank, maybe....🤔

Peedee those wind farms look like the scenery seen from somewhere near Colwyn Bay but the "beach" doesn't.

Good spot WN, a little further north, its Abergele beach. I believe the wind farm is on Rhyl Sands. There is a great cycleway running the length of the coast between Rhyl, Colwyn Bay and Rhos on Sea

Pliers,  it's a Chateau in the Dordogne, Les jardins Suspendu de Marqueyssac which sits above the pretty little town of La Roque Gageac.

If in the area then it's a nice place to visit with magnificent views.

The "sculptures are heads of famous Poets , found on a walk through the informal wooded area. Not something we've come across before.

Thanks, Wherenext, I would never have guessed that one!

Will check out the link for the chateau and add it to my long list of places to visit when we are finally allowed to venture out of Newchurch again!

    🙂

The river with the bridge across to a railway station  is the River Dee and the building on the left is the Chain Bridge Hotel, LLangollen. Its at the end of the Llangollen Canal not far from the Horseshoe Falls which I think were built to feed water into the canal. The hotel is a nice place to sit and have a drink. If you are lucky the canoeist will entertain and a steam train might pull in at the station opposite. Not far away within walking distance is a private Motor Museum. In the collection we found this very old early caravan.
