Off topic, sorry, but our 1st caravan was a Forest Dean.
Probably 5th hand, at best, but after years of tent camping, we both thought it was absolutely brilliant. Our spaniel loved it too!

Yes, it is Conisbrough, features in Sir Walter Scott’s Ivanhoe novel. Well worth a visit.

Well spotted on the little white post PD. Not Bladon..........

I don’t think it is MZ but I could be wrong!

    I suspect it’s Yellowcraigs.

It's not Easter Island after the upgrade, is it?

Added bodies, legs, arms and chairs - more than just an upgrade! I know the answer, but then I cheated by using google. Pretty miserable looking lot aren't they?

It's a pretty ugly monument, AD, which seems to have us all stumped ( and may have stopped this thread in its tracks!)frown

Don't know where they are, but they look about as mobile as Rovers' back 4 under our bright new manager (pre lockdown!) frown

    Here’s an easy one!

The grey skies very uncharacteristic for the region!

It is indeed, it’s very CL like in certain areas. Mind you, so is Marazion usually when we go.

Just looked it up, they're partly based on the columns of a Greek Temple, like the one at Athens, made from alabaster overlooking the beach and sea and they're named "man meets the sea." Celebrating 100 years of Esberg's municlpal independence.

edit A bit like the Anthony Gormley sculptures at Crosby except they're not brave enough to go into the water...wink

I remember seeing them when we were in Denmark in 2010.  Not exactly pretty, but quite impressive.
