how did you do that ????? he was a campervanner, surprised only joking, but it just highlights what i said earlier, there are people out there who do not have a clue as to what all the fuss is about , and wont have a clue until they get sick and pass the virus onto several others frown,

In one of car parks today that are not fenced off, there was a campervan of dubious legality in terms of valid Mot/tax, in fact it was not registered on the DVLA data base, one of those with a log burner inside and a smoke stack poking out of the roof, but the guy was skate boarding around the car park at great speed just in a pair of cropped jeans, no shirt , no shoes or socks, and totally oblivious to others.

I am not normally shy at coming forward but he was built like a brick loo house and had a dog that would probably have taken your face off.

JK's example and the Cornwall Council report I posted earlier are surely proof that the current situation is inadequate. Boris has over estimated the intelligence and social awareness of the population.

This thread title is should we stay or go and as we are not going, or some folk staying if no permanent home address perhaps the thread is no longer relevant

But if you make it an order to stay home, who would police it?

I don't think any of us want to see the military on the streets, they are doing enough to help the NHS and country as it is.

Both in spain, and they carry guns, you are right would not want it, but it appears to work , surprisingly,

my daughter has to pass through a police cordon to get to the shops undecided

And what makes you think that they are not already out and about just because you haven't seen any, as you're staying isolated at home.

By reading what others have been writing ie that all the holidaymakers are rocking up. It’s how most of us learn about the outside world. I don’t even go to the shops, the shops come to me👍🏻. Happy to help.

You can’t legislate to stop these people, it could be law but they’ll still do what they want. The folk who are following advice are the ones who will always follow the advice.

Your views are those of a tiny minority - possibly a minority of 1, and not reflected in the recent General election. You clearly don't like OUR ELECTED prime minister and call him names - a bt childish really. The only chancellor I can remeber bankrupting the economy was Mr Brown who left the economy in a real mess. I think OUR Prime Minister has carried out his role very well and considering the hand he has been dealt has shown great strength. We need a strong Prime Minister (you agree with that) now more than we have for many years. You cotradict yourself by critising the "ordering and deamanding" government and then demand "strong decisive leadership" What a muddled post.

As suggested before, Spain's death rate doesn't appear to be a shining example of how it should be done .....

It seems the 'travellers' are unaware of the crisis, yesterday they turned up and took over the local park and ride. No police presence there it seems, and usual waiting days are being applied before being moved on to somewhere near you maybe.

Really, all those pictures of empty shelves and news reports of how the supermarkets were working to get some stock must have been fake news. I must have been take in by the conspiracy.

    Mr Phishing

I wont go to the trouble of re-printing your garbage politically inspired posts, as any can read them if they like Defeatist Crap.  Our, Elected by a large majority Prime Minister, is doing very well given the circumstances he finds himself in, and his new Chancellor has also done well.

Getting back to Motorhoming, I am planning long involved trips to Scotlands Highlands and Islands,

Orkney and Shetland is calling to me.

I would have thought the 'Corona Virus spreader Travellers'  would be sitting it out somewhere where they have good access to free local Healthcare....which, they have of course paid not a penny towards. Hope any locals give them the' Not welcome here' treatment, like they would to holidaymakers.

you are quite right, because they made the same mistake as we are currently making in the first instance, and that was to rely on people being sensible and staying indoors, this did not work, and it is not working very well here either, and that his why they introduced much more stringent legislation, unfortunately it was too late, the people from the big cities such as Madrid had fled to the coast taking the virus with them. It is not too late to redeem ourselves and impose more stringent legislation now ahead of the peak of the Easter holidays, and stop people here doing the same.

    unquote

we dont even have a vaccine as yet.....and talk about stating the obvious, that will be Starmer then, should he stay or go ?

Perhaps a fine regime based on mileage might focus a few minds. £10 per mile based on the round trip mileage. So a thirty mile trip to the seaside will set you back £600. They wouldn't make a habit of it then.

Ther were a few empty shelves to begin with, due to panic buying. However, now it's just odd things that are in higher than normal demand, like bread flour. Some problems are also caused by the fact folk are shopping closer to home, so the smaller Tesco 3 miles away is getting visits from those in our village, who previously might have gone to the Extra 6 miles away.

The logical thing to do would be not to keep moving them on. I suspect that one area of our 3 park and rides could accommodate a group of them.

Our prime minister is a self elected buffoon

I won't discuss the politics of the matter or my detailed views. As far as I am concerned Borris was probably the best choice available that was likely to garner sufficient votes to pull the country together whether I like him or not; which becomes an irrelevance in my view. Thank god that we don't have a fractured house of commons at this time with a minority government with the infighting that went on before the last election.
