There is a small on site dog walk for the quick walk no lighting so a torch needed ,there are some walks off site
, one OH can manage would be ok for a gentle walk,
Turn right out of site and walk on footpath towards Cromer at the end of holiday home site enter field ,dogs can run free ,head towards car park ,and you will see a Blue building, it is a very dog friendly cafe

Stayed there in August, from what I recall it was a decent dog walk. I just noticed it was next to the tent and play area. There were plenty of dogs on site.
Very good access to the town.

I really disliked Incleborough. It’s steep and, as I remember, dog walking is either right up the top by the dunes or down the bottom by the entrance. It’s one of the few sites we'd not return to.

We’ve only stayed the once, and only for a few nights. I think we had a pitch down near entrance, so it worked ok for us. There was only half of the site open at the time. Friends of ours stayed at Seacroft when Club first acquired it, they weren’t impressed, but that was years ago, and I think a lot of work has been done. It’s only a base for seeing Norwich and Blickling, we shall move back further West after that. Love the area close to Wells, Blakeney. If we can’t find a CL, Fakenham Racecourse will do us, stayed there a few times. If it’s open that is......🤔

Make sure if wanting to stay at Fakenham racecourse that there is no racing as you have to move your caravan
The home made fish finger pannini are good at Blakeney
Ps Seacroft is like it seems all the comercial sites the club buy they are all in need of large investments

Yep, we know the one, sister to Barleywood? We haven’t rejoined, got our insurance elsewhere this time, much better quote and special conditions. Having sold one of our Wranglers, neither Club would accept transferring no claims over onto MH, so we said up yours. Found excellent cover elsewhere, have used them previously for other insurance, good company. So not members of CCC. With a bit of luck, there might be a pitch at Barleywood, but I am not booking anything until we get weather report. If it snows, we shall go and play somewhere else in Jeep!😁

There is another CL next door to Barleywood, and another across the road, but don't think that one is as good as the other two.

Yes that’s it. I daren’t show it to OH, if he sees a site that boards Chickens that will be my cover for not getting any more blown! I can just imagine touring with chickens.........all those moans about dogs barking would pale into insignificance when confronted by a Cockadoodledo!🤣🤣🤣

Helloooo, I’m not just a Dog lover I like chickens too👍🏻. Crack a supermarket egg into the pan it splashes in, crack your own chickens egg into the pan it slides in, a lot thicker & tasty with a darker yolk👏🏻👏🏻

Yep, the difference is amazing. We kept chickens and ducks for years in our garden, OH loves them. I once gave him some chickens for his birthday, and BIL found me a Polish to give him one Christmas. He twigged what was in the Grolsch box on Xmas Eve because it had air holes, and clucked every so often😂 We had quite a few different kinds, Pheasant Fowl, Aracanas, Wyandotte’s. We even had some Guinea Fowl for a short while, they had to go because of the noise. It all started because I inherited my Grandfather’s wonderful old Rooster after a fox had killed all the rest of his fowls and he was too upset to get any more. Neighbours were kept sweet with free eggs, no one ever complained, in fact two others got ducks of their own. We had one duck who was super tame, she would get into house via cat flap and cause mayhem in kitchen.

I liked the ones that came visiting at Creake. One hopped up on the van step as if she does it every day. There were some beauties at Polstead too.

Morning ET😁 We had a trio of Silkie Bantams, The were like walking Pom poms😂
I like to see chickens and ducks on CLs, and of course that usually means nice eggs. The Airedale’s were brought up with our chickens, so everything got along happily, but we do keep an eye on Choccy as he’s not been formally introduced! He did make friends with resident ducks in Dartmoor cottage we stayed in this Summer.

When will the club grasp the nettle and ban the use of extending dog leads?. I am disappointed that my original post was locked and I am now relegated to the bottom of this discussion which has drifted significantly off piste. I has forgotten how totally inconsiderate lots of members are when using the extending leads and allowing dogs to walk on the grassed areas to use as a toilet. Timid messages saying exercise dogs of site are inneficent and a stricter more draconian approach is needed to protect the children who play on the grass. Anyone allowing their dog to foul the grass area should be immediately expelled from site without any refund of pitch fees. The diseases that can be spread via dog feces can be just as dangerous as Covid 19
