    Just been through the August 2019 Magazine and updated the OFF-Grid (Non-EHU) Sites list and map as below.

    NEW OFF-GRID SITES ADDED: 
    Although 3 new ones listed already been added to the list in the past!

    CLOSURES OF OFF-GRID SITES REMOVED (others listed but already removed):

    • Chew Valley Fruit Farm, Bonhill Road, Bishop Sutton, Bristol, North East Somerset, England, BS39 5TS

    REMOVED AS EHU added:

    • New House Farm Seaton Road, Musbury, Axminster, Devon, England EX13 8AJ Devon

    Cefn Fm was shown as having EHU in the 2019/20 Site Directory, Johnny.

    Eldoret  & Sallywood Fm do not appear at all in the SD.

    Maybe some of you who “do Facebook” may like to join this new group started today!

    As an Off-Grid site owner I and a CAMC member who spends a lot of time Off-Grid have set up this Facebook group “Caravan & Motorhome Off-Grid Group” (CAMOGG) to bring together off-grid tourers, site owners and other interested parties to share their knowledge, experiences, recommendations and to help those who wish to know more about the Off-Grid experience

    Currently off grid for the first time in years inspired by this thread.   

    We’re at Burstwick Golf Club in East Yorkshire just 12 miles from home.   Very pleasant one acre site, flat with hedging on one side and open views on the other. Road is a bit noisy but manageable.   £8 per night plus £2 for an awning  

    All ok with the van at the moment - fingers crossed for a good weekend despite unreliable weather.

    Just been through the October 2019 CAMC Magazine and updated the OFF-Grid Sites list and map as below.
    The Off-Grid CL sites has now reached a new low of 390!

    Have to say John  that since CAMOGG kicked off I have been amazed at the response to ‘Off Grid’ Having been asked by Roadpro to represent them at the NEC recently (and again in February) and spending the full six days talking to folk about lithium batteries and the possibilities they offer you off grid, I definitely  got the impression that many many people are seriously now looking at ways to cut costs and the correct investment into kit can cut caravanning costs dramatically! I really believe that off grid is about to get a revival- in fact, it’s started! Now proudly displaying my new CAMOGG logo on the car. If you are at all interested in off grid, join us and see the possibilities!

    Johnny, I see that 4 of the sites listed as closed in the June issue of the club's magazine are non EHU ones, don't know if you've picked up on that.

    Thanks for that. I did go through the magazine and I had already removed all 4 off these on April 7th when I checked sheet and found no working links.
    We seem to have (currently) 2172 CLs of which 381 are off-grid, however my sheet lists 373 so appear to be 8 adrift which is worrying.
    As there is no way to search for off-grid ones, it is difficult to find them, I may have to try to see if any that left have come back etc

    Johnny, the number has again dropped to 2168, which it was a few weeks ago, so heaven knows what's going on. And with Maddie being on furlough it will be a while before we have the full picture I guess.

    Johnny, there seems to be something strange going on. We have visited both Domo,  and Mount Pleasant Farm, and they both had EHU. In fact the latter's web site stresses the fact that they have EHUs. Also the reviews for Lashlake Barn indicate that it hasn't EHU. Without contacting each CL I don't know how to confirm the info one way or another.

    I too have been comparing the web site list to my "updated" site directory and there are lots of CLs that are now missing from the website. The non-EHU ones I've not found are Bleak House Fm, York; Callows Fm, Whitney, Oxon; Green Acre Fm, Haverfordwest; May Fm, Frome. There is also non-EHU site that doesn't appear in the SD or on your map , Hurley View, Taunton.
