We too have used Albolafia for visits to Cordoba etc.  If you drive to Cordoba and follow signs towards centre you should be able to find lots of free street parking on the south side of the river just across the footbridge from the main sights. However, we always go off season so cannot comment on how busy it may be in peak season but that period is finishing in a week or so. If you look at a street map of Cordoba you will see what I mean.  My books are in the caravan as off on Friday so cannot give clearer directionscool

We were there in November and couldn't find any street parking south of the river that didn't have a time limit but from other comments I think we didn't look in the right place. We parked in a car park in Avenida Del Dr Fleming which was close to the tourist area but had the tiniest parking slots that I have ever seen. Hubby parked our Kia Sorrento in one with difficulty but I couldn't have done it.

Whilst primarily aimed at motorhomes looking for overnight parking, this site is quite useful for locating parking. https://park4night.com/

If you are visiting Cordoba the best and easiest way to see the sights is to use the Hop on/Hop off bus. The ticket gives you a ride on a standard double decker but also a minibus to take you around the narrow side streets. Saves miles of walking in the heat.

Thanks Mikey, where about do you get this bus? or is it best to head to Tourist office first.

Tammygirl,  If I remember correctly we just headed over the river bridge towards the town centre and the buses and touts seemed to be everywhere.
