...you cant please all of the people all of the time...never look a gift horse in the mouth 150 ltrs could be a saving of £15, and it could be yours ET just by simply carrying a small piece of plastic in your wallet and a chance to win fuel for 12 months FOC, how good would than be

Put it this way, Rufs, if Easy dropped a £10 note, or even a £20, down a drain, do you imagine he’d bother to fish it out?

Believe me I've brought my children up on that saying, not that they listened very often. If you're a dedicated Esso user and have no choice it might be useful, other than that it's just another card and I would guess that when most need fuel they'll hope to find the best price elsewhere.

oh without doubt you are probably right, but in my case cheapest today would be Asda at £1.31, if i travel another half mile i will get Esso at £1.26, Shell my nearest is £1.33, and because the admin side re the issue of this card was a bit of a shambles, i get £5 credit, bonus

If you paid via your Esso card you should pay the discounted rate, however the receipt still shows the pump price.
Check the website https://www.myessocard.com/welcome and your purchase will show there, under receipts, and the amount will also appear on your banking statement at the reduced rate, or online if you have it.
It does take a few days though.
Having had experience of Agency fuel cards in my time with the transport industry, this is quite normal practice.

HI Ken
I can confirm, all fuel types are indeed included in the scheme.

Received my fuel card today, then logged onto myessocard web site to retrieve my pin No as directed in the covering letter and guess what NO pin No, what sort of company are we dealing with

According to the club website this is the company offering the card to club members. At the bottom of the page after expanding terms and conditions. Maybe they can help. "https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/membership/member-offers/MyEssoCard/ "

Help! Perhaps I'm missing a trick here but I was always told that top brand fuel is better quality than any supermarket fuel, so in addition to any savings you should also be getting a better quality product that should mean a small increase in mpg and better engine performance / longevity - or have I got that wrong?
And while I'm here how do you activate the Esso card once you've got it? My start up letter tells me to visit my profile to receive my pin. I've opened up the "My Esso Card" page and can't see anyway to access my profile so can't activate my card. Can anyone tell me how to get to my profile - please?
TIA

IMHO you are correct as the premium fuel is a high octane and burns hotter and cleaner. I can feel a big difference in my vehicle between the two. My handbook even states to use high octane fuels. Go here for esso card

Signed up a couple of weeks back - card turned up but no PIN on account profile. Emailed yesterday and today there's a PIN.
However, no texts about prices - have emailed about that as well.
This does look like a good offer especially in rural and semi rural areas where the nearest SM pumps are too far away to make it worthwhile. Our local is Esso.
In September we were in Oxfordshire and urban pump prices generally were 10p / l higher than rural Wiltshire!
