    And  you  replied ,  " No  , it's  only  JUST  a  game,  m'dear "

Still  I'm only  jealous,  Matey  --  sometimes  I  wonder  why  they  bother  filling  in  the  bloomin'  entry  form.

    {  whitter,  whitter,  whitter,  whitter }

    Oh,  really  ??

Now  I've  been  told  off  'cos  it's  forced  on  League  Clubs  --  no  choice --  look  twerps  or  get  punished  surprisedembarassed !

My OH keeps telling me that it's only a game, I've lost count of the times I've tried to put her right, now a just shake my head in sorrow.

My adopted non-league team have now been dumped out of the FA Trophy so they'll be concentrating on the league.

Women!!. 🤔On a trip to Barcelona last year,my wife flatly refused to join me on a tour around the Nou Camp stadium. Preferring to visit some old wreck of a church that has been a building site for donkeys years .No interest in the glorious game what so ever .⚽⚽.But I love her really .😙.

Maybe she made the right decision, after all, there's nothing new about the Nou Camp, the place is a dump.

Still recovering from the Manchester derby, I'm worn out, feel as though I've played!

Great result though, but I was on edge until the 3rd goal went in, don't they put you through it ⚽️😊⚽️.

Arrgh! A 2-0 home defeat to Barnsley which wouldn't normally bother me too much but for 2 reasons:

As a Lancastrian it pains me when we lose to a team from the wrong side of the Pennines

The daughter's fella is from there and I'll get those 'smug' looks when next he appears ☹️

Look on the bright side, today is Sunday and a traditional roast beef dinner to look forward to, free from those fatty, disgusting dough ball things 😉

Well we may be "concentrating on the league" now that yet another non league team has dumped us out of the cup, but the trouble is our guys only appear to have a concentration span of about 44 minutes at a time! yell

I see that Joe Lolly got four assists and a cracking 35 yard goal and still didn't finish on a winning side.

I can't believe we let him go for £300,000😱

We went to watch the under 18s last evening. The first thing to note is Town's academy doesn't have an U18 team but they cobbled one together from the U17s and U19s for the FA Youth Cup.

The game was very entertaining, Peterborough went down to 10 men when their keeper was sent off midway through the first half but they still ran out 2-0 winners.

Our youngsters could slot straight into the first team, they play great football, have loads of possession but can't score😊

The biggest gate of the season (5257) and it gets called off in the 75th minute whilst all square at 1-1

Well done to the 2604 Sunderland fans who went home soaked

Now that's what I call a decent referee. Take a bow Paul Tierney, made consistent decisions all afternoon, booked three Arsenal players for simulation and kept a lid on what was becoming a tetchy affair especially in the first half.

It's a pity we had to lose to a wonder goal late on.

Well, that's one more manager looking for a new job then!  I was never a big fan of Darryl Clarke although he did well enough in turning round Rovers' fortunes when they were at their lowest ebb. But for me he was always a good non league manager trying to turn non league players into something they could never be. And it's clear that where he did buy players in from league clubs - 2 hopeless goalkeepers and 3 strikers who between them have scored less goals than one midfielder - he was unable to get them to perform to their full ability.

So good wishes for the future to Darryl - it was clear that the club had headed down a cul de sac this season - and now was the right time to make that decision in time, hopefully to get a new man established before the transfer window opens in January. I wonder who they've got in mind?
