Thanks Brue. I note that the Southport Club Site prices are due to go up. Ne'er mind. I shall doubtless book for next year regardless as this is the only site that we use once each year in December. Most sites we are unlikely to return to within 4 years.

If we represent a proportion of those who haven't received this message I wonder how many actually got it out of the total membership? I have sent a message to the club. Hope we get a response, a few pounds here and there is quite significant for some.

I can see it on my Android tablet, TW. Now what I can't do is to provide a screenshot like that, (maybe I will learn how to one day!) but our email was worded differently to yours, this is the text I copied:

Odd.

I think that peedee is talking about the increase up to now, and there's going to be further increase after the 5th Dec as stated in the e-mail some received. Hence my earlier post.

No pd, there's a further increased to come hence the e-mail telling members to book before Dec5 to avoid the increase.

You're correct Nellie, as far as I know the supplements to be added due to the Club underestimating cost have not been published and have yet to be added. I have not really been paying too much attention to the changes because I have as yet no plans to use any Club sites and I certainly won't be rushing to book anytime soon. Prices will be what they will be but one thing for certain is they will not be less than currently shown.

I get the same problem on my iPad TW. Generally only with photos I post, not with others. I can still see your letter.
Normally when I clear the history they reappear. I just put it down to a memory issue. My iPad is getting a bit ancient and does not have the same capacity as the newer models.

It reappeared late last night after I cleared my cache, Steve.
My Pad is still a current model but I guess they have their limitations and I do give it a good workout on a daily basis.

I was on the phone to a department at the club this afternoon( about a renewal email i had not received) and the person i was speaking to was "unaware" that the generic email had not been received by it sounds, quite a large portion of the membership,

That doesn't surprise me JVB and I'm pleased to hear you spoke to someone. I can't understand why the information hasn't been put on the web site, in the uk holiday section or "what's on." Last day tomorrow but too late for many I fear.
If TW hadn't written the OP I and others would be none the wiser. I was grateful for this info.

Just out of interest, I have just checked two bookings I have made for next May and the percentage increase from yesterday's 2019 prices is 2%. That is of course on top of the 3.5 % or so increase from 2018. So significantly above inflation. Well at least it is at the ones I have looked at, I know they have frozen some.

My two short bookings for Hillhead (which I made when I saw this thread) and Broadway haven't altered at all. I see in the link I put on, which others received and some didn't, that these two were due for a price rise. Further on the link announces the price rise list comes out in January 2019. Is it me or does this seem very muddled?

I thought that I would make my 14/15 night booking for Southport December 2019 over Christmas. HOW MUCH!!!!
There is a glitch in the booking system such that for each of 5 nights of a 14 night booking it was charging once at £21.50 and charging the same night again at £21.80.

Ditto...checked a couple of my bookings..Chatsworth has not changed,(But I do know the scheduled work for Jan/Feb/Mar has been postponed, so the site is open for business)......Knaresborough has increased from £220.00 to £226.20.(2.82%)...So the saving of £6 should get me a couple of pints in The Wanderer bar.....Cannot see any other increase from 2018..
