I am I the only one that thinks this site is not new,and what we need are new sites,it does not make a difference to me who owns or runs a site, I do hope they keep the character of the site and not turn it into a carpark.

I think the site looks lovely and one to use on a trip in that area. I have to agree with hooker128 that this was a site and will remain a site under different ownership. Maybe the club will rearrange the site, maybe they'll insert more pitches. What we need are new sites, as in didn't exist before, increasing the number of pitches available. Maybe one day the club will offer Essex in its portfolio 😲😉.

well thing is club sites are more popular than non club sites? also now it belong to the club children will be allowed and therefore all those families who wanted to use club sites now have an extra site.

And there are some, like me who will only use club sites. Once this one has been assimilated (think Borg like - resistance is futile, bringing order to chaos) I will use it if down that way.

It matters to me who owns it and also that there are no minimum bookings etc.  I will use non club sites if there is not a convenient club site.

I haven't been to that particular site before, but I think it looks nice.  I'm definitely going to give it a go later in the summer, and there's plenty of availability at the moment, weekends and all.

The problem lies with the cost and potential use of land. Landowners want the best price they can get and currently, this is best achieved with housing.

Land is a prime commodity in current times, finding available plots in the right areas for building a caravan site must be incredibly difficult. (and prohibitively expensive)

I’d be very surprised if anyone yet knows when it will happen. Give them a chance, Brian.

It's interesting that a commercial site thinks 10mph is still a reasonable 'on-site' speed. Perhaps CAMC should split the difference and set it at say 8mph when it might be more likely to be observed. Just a thought.

Could it be good fortune? Of course I am not aware of any 'speeding accidents on a CC site; are you?

Regardless of safety I consider speeding anti-social.
