I presume the menu will become similar to Hillhead etc BUT there are some very good places to eat locally aren't there? At which point I'm going to grill a few sardines for tea and leave this discussion....
but I really think people will enjoy the new site, you'll all be pleased with this purchase.

Looks like a great site in a good location but it looks like the Club has introduced a new pricing structure. Fridays and Saturdays throughout the season have a higher price than the week. There is not a MWD in operation on this site it's just a higher price for the weekend!0 -
Interesting, currently a lot of tent pitches (137) I wonder if that will remain the case.
Also no point booking a Service pitch to make sure you don't end up on grass. As some of them are grass and surface type is not bookable.

Sorry TW I don't normally enter into discussions but in this case I think you may be wrong. A MWD is a saving of 50% on pitch fees. This pricing structure has a weekend supplement . Both the pitch and person fees are higher.

Glad to hear of the positive responses about Bingham Grange. It will be a good addition for the Club who I think are always on the lookout. Almost tried the site 4 weeks ago but decided on Hurn Lane instead. We'll go when things have settled down a bit.

I wonder with the comments on here from some,and the quick sale whether it does not meet the latest standards for visitor safety,so have the previos owners have got out before they get slapped with a big bill
As the latest at site at Scarborough (cayton bay)was in need of big money to be spent

Oh for heaven's sake, isn't it good news that the club is acquiring a good site in a popular area to add to the network? Yes, it will involve changes and it'll need time for them to bed in. But let's celebrate a bit of good news instead of just looking for negatives.

Ok, if you try and book it, you may end up at Abbey Wood, the wordings may not be correct and the website name on FaceAche might offend motorhomers - but let's be honest- they're all trivial. I, for one, look forward to visiting the site. Well done Club! 👍😀

Many will like the walks from the site (taken from the original web site.)
There are no footpaths along the main road itself. Some will be pleased to find Lidl and the Co-op just a short drive away. But to be away from the holiday crowds will please many after a day out discovering the area.
Apart from the coast, three lovely places nearby are Forde Abbey, Eggardon Hill and Mapperton House.

Maybe some of the facilities are only open at weekends? It's a question for EGT.

Good news, more choice for members. Took a look around it a few years ago & found it too tight/claustrophobic in some areas. It may have changed.

Brue, I wish people would stop this way of forcing their opinions on others. I know that we would not like the site and I'm sure that we will not be alone in this. There are plenty of caravanners, including some that post on here, that would not thank you for a pitch on such a site.

I'm so glad to see that, having finally broken open the padlock on the big chest of reserves, the Club has managed to dip into it twice - and maybe more to come.
This site must now be a leading contender in the contest for the title of "Longest Site Name on the Network".
