We used the motor mover to get the caravan on to this pitch so that might be the best way next time.

The warden did help us site the caravan when we first moved on to this pitch using the motor mover.

I've now swapped over the cars so that the Shogun is next to the caravan ready to be loaded up.

Mrs Mehta has been on the go before I even woke up this morning! I never get to see her in a recliner!

Glad to hear Mr MH is feeling better today, hope he's back to full fitness soon as you are off to NI soon, if I remember correctly?
Enjoy the garden centre

It's a lovely morning here too, even feels warmish
Dog walked, bed stripped, washing done and pegged outside, need wellies to get down the garden though
House cleaned, shame it doesn't stay that way
Catching up now with a cuppa, friend has texted to say she can't meet tomorrow now , she's off to Manchester . Even the boss has sent text, extra work for this afternoon!
Hope everyone is out making the most of the sunshine 🌞🌞
Keep up with the chores Oneputt, Mrs Oneputt will appreciate the time relaxing. ☺

I thought you said she hasn't got one? She'd have to fight you for the one you have between you 😂😂. Hope you get off you pitch without causing damage and can go straight back after your 2 nights away. Good suggestion to enlist the wardens help/advice.
Can say your descriptions of living in your caravan hasn't made may me any more likely to want to try it 😉.

Our grass squelches as you walk in it, but a kneeling pad spreads the load and nearly all our beds can be reached without getting on them. I have delegated that job to OH today 😉. He reckons its cold in the shade. I don't know I'm working on the patio in the sun 😂😂😂. Why keep a dog and bark yourself? All fanlight open in the house changing the air throughout 😆
Just popped on here with a cuppa, need to walk to the post box before I restart, collection 5pm but I know I'll miss it again as I have done for last 2 days Last day to post so the card arrived in time for the birthday!
Oneputt thanks for bringing the sun, hopefully you have enough influence to keep it here 😉.
Maybe nelliethehooker can do the same to Tammygirl 😃

That's what I keep telling her but she keeps putting it off! She makes the excuse that she prefers to wait until her visa is granted. She's anticipating the possibility of refusal and the need to save money to pay for appeal costs, just in case!

Wow that's the big decision made Husky. Hopefully it will all go swiftly and smoothly. You're bound to have mixed feelings even apprehension but I'm sure you're given it lots of contemplation - hope your nerve, you won't regret it. And should you decide after you've given it a go it wasn't right you can always return to the world of work 😲. Life is for living no one knows what's round the corner - you have at least chosen what you're doing 😉.
Do you feel more nauseous now than before making the call? 😂

I am a very positive person ,so making this decision was right at this moment , the way I see it is a chapter in my life will close (the shop) ,but a new chapter will open (retirement) and lots of exciting times , plus it will give me more time to look after my parents....

Beautiful sunny day here today what a difference.
Bad night again last night couldn't stop coughing, ended up sitting propped up for most of night. OH no different either, we are sleeping in separate rooms trying not to disturb each other, really had enough of this now
Glad to hear the Big decision has been made Husky hope everything goes to plan for you.
MillieH glad to hear your OH is feeling better, maybe I should go back to Dr again.

well done. Start to plan where you want to be on the first day of your retirement.
I still remember that first Monday in September when I woke up on site and at 9am sat outside my van with a glass of champagne and toasted all the teachers going back.

Yes lovely sunny and warm day up here, after snow last night!
Spend some time in the local caravan dealer this afternoon and as usual got mistaken for somebody who works there (happens in other shops too really!). Actually twice -someone in the shop asked about an air awning and outside while looking at the new outfits.

Well done Husky
I sincerely hope everything goes tickety boo for you, my first Monday after retirement felt so good but so strange, but I soon got use to it
As a fellow dog owner always looking for a bargain, will there be a closing down sale
or is it lock, stock and barrel.

The work in the pantry continues. We've now turned a corner - literally as two walls done.
This morning I washed all my "Shorthorn pots" and put them back on the shelves. Apologies about the odd shape in the photo - I merged two together and the perspective was different.

Good luck, Husky. Here's hoping for a quick sake stick full asking price.

That's the one but with the Auto we have now it had a real problem on the hills on the Foss from Cirencester, and Fish Hill even with our manual was down to third on the bends to keep the revs in a decent range, Where on the Foss it would sail up them in fifth unless baulked

Good Luck Husky, hope you get a quick sale.
Goldie, your pots are lovely, bit of a task washing them .
