Changing a Ferry Booking

We have booked our Crossings Santander out Cherbourg back, if we wanted to spend more time in Spain and return via Santander instead is it possible to change our booking. Has anyone done the same and how easy or hard did you find it.

Pete.

It all depends on the dates. At peak times the Santander ferries will be full and it will be difficult to get a reservation and a cabin at short notice.

If you have booked direct with Brittany Ferries they will make amendments within 5 days of travel without an amendment  fee - you just pay the new fare.  If you have booked via this Club you can only contact them on weekdays, not weekends, and you will pay an amendment  fee . But in both cases it depends on there being availability.

I think that should read "outside 5 days of travel". If within 5 days there is a fee.

£25 fee for amendments with the other Club, and same problems with contacting them.  I always book direct with Brittany online.

Also be aware that as worded, any changes made less than 5 days before your OUTWARD journey will incur a fee.    As with airlines, I always book each direction separately as it makes no difference to overall cost, and makes changes so much simpler
