What was the ref thinking of sending a Swansea player off early. That gave them the chance to park a fleet of buses. Town had 28 shots without scoring, well some of them could be classed as shots the others were more like pass it carefully to the keeper!

    onwards and upwards 🤞

Come  on  Rog,  be a   good  boy  now surprised !!  If  the  player  had  just  got  a  "yellow"  and  later  on  committed  fouls  of  similar  nature,  or  even,  heaven  forfend,  scored  against  you,  I  think  you  would  be  attacking  the  ref  for  those  decisions.undecided

At  least  t'Alex  kept  on  keeping  on  'til  they  scored  two  late  goals  for  their  deserved  draw  laughing

    {  ??  Don't  know  where  this  5 decision  came  from ??  I  didn't  type  it  +  now  I  cannot  delete  it  yell}

Feeling much relieved after Hull City's 3-0 win against Ipswich last night - especially given their track record away from home.  Clear of the relegation zone for now but just let's hope they don't become complacent.

I know and that's why I love reading them.

Another 6 pointer tomorrow I'm not sure my nerves can take many more. One of our best squad players has broken an ankle in training, they must really be competing for starting shirts😱

Good look to the Alec tomorrow

I've  got  a  new  unopened  parcel  of  nerve  tonic,  arrived  in  the  post  this  very  day  Rog,  I'll  share  it  with  you  if  you  want  wink

I  was  going  to  ask  whose  ankle  was  it  that  your  player  broke,  but  that  would  just be  rubbing  salt  into  the  wounds  surprisedembarassed

Thanks for the offer Brian but I think that after yesterday I might need a whole lorry load. What a sorry performance in such an important game. Better make that two lorry loads I think I'll have to share it with the players.

Still I suppose we'll have to keep the faith.

No,  Its  not  Crewe  today  but  its  the  whining  about  the  equaliser  last  night !

Defender  stands  on  a  player's  foot  in  the  penalty  area  &  everybody  seems  to  think  it's  not  a  penalty  !undecided.  I  don't  care  if  the  attacker  was  running,  falling  or  lying  down  picking  daisies  He  was  Stood  On !  It  might  have  been  totally  accidental,  or  it  could  have  been  a  cynical  attempt  to  gain  an  advantage  for  Eng ger land,  but  it  was  a  FOUL  !! yell

    RANT  OVER    Grrrrrr  !!

Sorry  but  I  hate  it !

3 very big games for City next week. We're off to wonderful Anfield on Wednesday for the Champions' League 1st leg, then we play our friends from The Swamp on Saturday.

2nd leg of the cup tie Tuesday 10th.  I'm getting very nervy already......😱

As an ex Everton armchair fan (ever since Bung-me-lots got the job) I was interested to see them get stuffed by City last weekend.

No matter which team you support, you have to take your hat off to Man City and the Italian fella. They have played football which has been of a different class to anyone else. Fully expect them to win the Champions league and to win the Premiership next Saturday, with a 3-0 win over their neighbours. Good luck to City.

Hopefully Accy Stanley can keep their winning run going for another few games and climb into Div One and some much needed cash. They really need an FA Cup tie agianst one of the big Lancashire clubs next season. Fingers crossed

Well we're staring down the barrel now. The euphoria of last May could well be replaced with despair this May.

The one small ray of hope is that at the moment the teams below us keep losing as well. I watched the Arsenal match yesterday against Stoke and the Gunners were truly awful in the first half but came through for us in the end.

Of the last six matches, the final three are Chelsea and Man City away and Arsenal at home last match of the season if we need points from those we're doomed😱😭

We could find ourselves playing those three within 8 days, the Chelsea match has to be rearranged owing to the cup semifinals

Fret  not  Roger  --  I'm  positive  that  while  you  are  down  in  the  deeps  you  will  be  still  in  PREMIER  come  April,  too  many  clubs  below  you  with  nary  a  chance  of  seeing  the  sun  rise  come  May.

    UTT  !!

P.S.  I  see  one  of  our  16  year  olds  has  gone  to  Chelsea  for  £300,000.  He  could  possibly  have  been  in  our  first  team  this  time  next  year,  but  he's  going  to  struggle  to get  in  C's  youth  team  alas.  The  extra  months  in  our  Academy  would  have  been  most  beneficial  but  I  can  hear  the  Southern  £'s  jangling  &  clinking  away.

Well despite  the  weather  the  Alex  &  'Vale  fought  out  a  2  --  2  draw  at  Gresty  Road  today  so  only  the  groundsman  is  likely  to  be  a  shade  hacked  off  this  evening laughing .

And  what  ever  happened  at  Coventry  today  surprised  only  conceded  6  { SIX  !! }  at  home  to  someone  from  the  country's  extremities  wink

I caught the end of a story on the local morning news today. Something about Stanley breaking Football League rules by buying burgers for the players when it isn't in their contracts. A late April Fools joke, surely....🤔

Inland Revenue spoiling a players' bonus, plus, apparently it breaks the FA's code of conduct.......and we all know how honest they are!! 😉😉😉

Yes I hope they go up this year too. I've had a soft spot for them since they returned to the League and it was only Lee Brown's last minute goal in the last game of the season for Rovers 2 years ago that denied them then. Sign of a good club that they stood by their manager when things didn't go so well last year. So I'll keep my fingers crossed for them! smile

    Just back from Anfield.

Good Heavens, absolutely outclassed 😱. Can't see us turning that round next Tuesday. But well done, Liverpool, and, wow, what an amazing atmosphere in the ground. Will try to add a couple of photos.

Well haven't been on for ages, in between homes, we left Nottingham last year, been in van ever since, moving to Burton on Trent, in fact very very close to Burton Albion, having an annexe built at my daughter's house.

New owners yet again at Forest, but things have improved on and off the field in last few months, have renewed season tickets even though we have missed a few matches this season, looking at travelling on the train for next season. Not scoring  many goals but not letting many in, our defence had more holes than a tea strainer.

sad news about Ray Wilkins, always interesting to listen to RIP

Can't believe what happened at the Etihad yesterday. Such a one-sided first half, City 2-0 up (without Sterling it could've been 6-0). Had to take dog out for her exercise and I come back 5 mins before the end to see 2-3 scoreline!!!

Assume City only came out second half with 5 players??

The mighty Accrington Stanley continue their march into Division One laughinglaughing

Not out of the woods yet, but 4-0 against QPR, yesterday, bodes well for Hull City's chances of staying in the Championship.

I don't know what Pep said to the players at half time, but don't say it again Pep 😱.

I've been watching City since my Dad took me to my 1st match when I was a 4 year old. And they always put you through it!

We all thought we were going to win at 2:0 up, but, Oh no.

2nd leg of the Champions' Leauge match on Tuesday night, then Spurs away at the weekend, no easy games....
