another interesting point, saying your English that is. We are learnt our grammar and spelling at school but English evolves over time and gradually current usage becomes the norm and taught and /or accepted as such. Otherwise we'd be all talking and writing middle English.
This is becoming hard work, or should that be one word hardwork, or even hard-work?

In promulgating your esoteric cogitations or articulating your superficial sentimentalities and amicable philosophical or psychological observations, beware of platitudinous ponderosity

I used to hate it when my parents watched the "Good Old Days " on TV!

I don't recall that double act....Flair and Flourish
We could progress to the spoken word, try this one...
"Ken Dodd's Dad's dog died distressingly, despite a drugs dose"

So to sum it up
Don't arrive early because it will cause queues, with people queuing in the road outside, in the arrivals area, in the LNA area, and probably a few others that I got bored reading..... and this will cause problems.
Instead, if we could all arrive at 1pm, the barriers will be miraculously parted, and we will all be able to enter at the same time, safely, without causing any safety or other issues.
Maks sense to me 😂😂😂, you couldn’t make it up

yes, far better to all be driving around the site at the same time, all searching out the elusive 'best pitch' without going over 5mph
as you say, you couldn't make it up...

I'll bow to your superior English there Davo on current usage.
PS I like your alternative or 'confused' spelling of nitpicking, metre, humour and damn

I do wonder how the club manages to be so popular? I mean some people must like the way things are done?

Well there are plenty of things in life that I may not agree with, might even say something when I don’t agree, such as work, marriage, kids, 😁 this country etc, but that doesn’t mean I would just leave.
That would be rather extreme, especially as in this case we are talking about a few hours ..... but each to their own

My sentiments entirely, DD

It's like we've never been gone.
Sunday Departures, anyone?

Oh no TW, not again, please!!!

"Why dont you just admit to getting your "half and halve" confused and get on with your usual role of being the defender of the club and all its works?"
"you can take the teacher out of the classroom but ..............."
Game, set and match to the teacher, methinks.

Oh, OK. How about dogs on site?
0 -
No TW, I'd call it Deuce
0 -
Or even, dare I say it......Dogs in fields?
0 -
Or just Dogs?
What's happened to our 'packs of dogs' friend? Banished again?

Perhaps we need a bigger maggot?
0 -
Granted, that's a point. Or maybe he needs a better disguise.
0 -
Yes, he's blown the one he has

maybe those with dogs can arrive anytime they like but leave on time? those with kids arrive on time but can stay longer?
