How's your footy team doing?

Only saw the highlights on M.O.T.D., but thought Town played really well, especially in the 1st half.
And don't worry, we've all been walloped by Arsenal, I remember a game back at Maine Road when they were 4 up against us after 20 mins 😱
Off topic, a bit, but Arsenal's new ground is by far the best I've been to, anywhere. Certainly recommend a visit to footy fans whoever you support.

I'd love to go there. I was sort of following the game onTown's twitter feed, they went in at half time 1-0 down and I didn't check for a while so I looked thinking they might have got an eqaliser to find they'd shipped three goals in four minutes, game over.
Now on to Everton on Saturday, will we see a new manager bounce. Rooney warmed up with a hat trick, that's not looking good for us but UTT

WOW, glad I was not at Blackburn for the FA Cup game against Blessed Crewe Alexandra today !!
Sounds like it was much too harda game for a gentle soul like yours truly
Never the less T'Alex are still in the cup, even tho' the replay will start 11 against 11

What you need for the replay is to get the ref to send two Blackburn players off a bit earlier then you'll have a better chance. The Alex did look dead and buried at 3-0 down so well done to them for coming back to draw👏👏👏👏
Keep the faith⚽️⚽️⚽️

Celtic must have felt sorry for poor old Lennon continually leading Hibs to glorious defeat and took the foot off the gas to make the poor guy feel better. Otherwise Celtic would have blitzed them.5/1.
Celtic still maintain their record of over 63 consecutive games in the Scottish league without defeat. Few teams can get near total. So a bit of tactical play just to maintain that record without humiliating Hibs is quite acceptable.

Obviously you ain't in the same division as poor old Crewe then Pliers -- most teams think thats a very easy game !!
Ask them there Lanky's on Tuesday evening ( Weather permitting !! I'm told the 'Teeny Ones' have built snowmen on trolleys to block off one of the goals -- bet they start at the wrong end )

But Celtic not doing so well in Europe...

Another great win for the Terriers. They'd not scored a goal away from home since the first match of the season and they go and score 4! Ok one was clearly offside and one was a softish penalty but we've had our share of bad decisions go against us this season so we'll take a bit going our way.
It's a roller coaster of a season so far a few highs (beating Man U) and some very deep lows. Still we are fans so we follow our team shuz 'ow.

Oh Dear Oh Dear
Brian's dropped another clanger !! Obviously I meant to say Finished The Year and not Finished the season -- unless I've become a Long Sighted Forecaster !!
I'll go now & try to train my fingers to go slower so my brain, such as it is, can keep up0 -
M, he was not close enuff to see any hypothetical refereeing slips, too many fans waving meat pies in front of him !!
Certainly hope Pauline was there to enjoy the fun, it would have made her immediate area about 10 or so degrees warmer !!

We've not heard from Pauline for a while and when we did she seemed to be a bit down in the dumps with Forest 's form or lack of it. Sunday's result should have put a smile on her face, it's always nice to beat the holders. Town did it a long time ago when Wolves were the holders and we were in the old second division. Also we were just Town then not Terriers.
UTT Rog.

Glad you both enjoyed the game, 4th round draw tonight, my fingers are crossed for another home tie, but I expect your grandson's hoping for another exciting away trip. I still remember my 1st night match, as a young kid, many years ago. Pure magic. 😊

It must be a Grandad/Grandson thing in our family. I remember going to see our village team every other Saturday with my Grandad, standing in the cold and wet under a leaky lean- to tin roof we grandly called the stand. My first trip to the old Leeds Road was with him to see them in the final of the Barlow Cup against Marsden. We went on a double decker special bus and if I remember Bill Shankley presented the cup, sadly to Marsden.

Managed to beat Bristol City, so we're off to Wemberleeee for the league cup final (or whatever they call it now). Really enjoyed our trip to Bristol, a very good atmosphere and the game could have gone either way until the last minute.
Not sure if we should take the 'van to Denham for the Wembley game, the weather can be dodgy for towing in February..... might book travelodge or similar for a couple of nights, as we did for Bristol.
Need tickets first though 🤔
