Such a bad site!

with respect, David, isnt this what folk on here have been doing for months (years) in providing snagging details etc. why would anyone consider going through this process again, on a whim?
the club hasnt even had the decency to provide a list of the accumulated input showing the 'snags' collected, their perceived seriousness and a date by which they will be fixed.
in the real world, any third party supplier providing this total lack of respect for its customer would be booted out with a flea in their ear...
i know, ive managed many a third party IT supplier.
however, as its the CC own in house 'system' and they are only likely to get 'booted' by us on CT, it matters not one whit to them and they can do what they like.....pretty much nothing.
a very sorry affair.....

I also don't like my log in details being retained
I still reckon that as nobody else has mentioned that as a problem it is down to your browser. My username and password are retained as I asked Google to do so. Are they retained if you use a different browser?

Perhaps what people should do is list the three things they personally feel need immediate attention so that we get a better idea of where the priority should be?
I posted over 6 months ago that I would no longer report IT snags as they were not being addressed with any vigour but, more to the point, there was no feedback as to what points the club had earmarked to address. No feed back amd no reports from me therefore.

I have got it worked out now. The forum website represents the "jolly jaunts" Club amateur aspect of the CAMC, queer idiosyncrasies that they hope will endear members. Other aspect are run on a more business like footing..........
Well, most of time.

Why is there a completely unrecognisable set of icons in top box above here? A tennis ball, a two finger salute (could be useful!), some clocks?

I think the main booking part of the site is good? Ok you can't book a HS but that's not a fault of the software/website but a decision by the club not to offer that selection. (it did allow that during the infamous trial) and for many members that don't go past the booking or finding a site part it is fine, isn't it?
Yes lots of problems on CT but then it's 'free' the club could either spend some money making it great but I'd rather the club spent it's money on hard standings than hard drives? What is the club's primary purpose? Good sites to stay on or a good site to while away the hours between visiting sites?
As for us on CT, when you're bored try and count up how many regular posters there are who use this site then compare that to the number on sites.
Oh and keep that in sight

i think my Safari browser on iPad retains the login irrespective of what box i tick.
i actually think (testing the grey cells here) that it retains them even when i delete all web history in settings....
so, likely to be a browser thing.
anyway, considering what thought (none) was given to how this site worked with ipads (remember the photo things...) it would be hardly surprising to think that safari is one browser that hasnt spent much time in the testing timetable....

Yes, if you have told Safari to remember your log in details, it retains them until you choose to delete them in Settings. Clearing your cache will not affect them.

Nope, they were there, left to right....three clock faces, a tennis ball, a two fingered salute, something else and then a red arrow instead of the smileys! Interestingly, and without me doing anything other than open up this thread, they have now gone, and I have the usual options of B, I, u, a pair of handcuffs and the smileys! Gremlins indeed at work, remotely as well!

They’ve been there since the relaunch.
