Sitting in my awning in the Loire-Atlantique with the pitter patter of the rain, not good enough! I could have done this in Cornwall at half the price,  at least the surf forecast is good laughing

Moderator comment: The title has been amended to avoid offence to any of our French friends.

Think a mod should change the title of this thread

Don't frogs like it when it's raining...they always come out in my garden when it rains?

I'm sure it's the same in France where they have a lot morewink

Are you committed to the site you're on? Can you not watch the weather forecast and move to an area that is dry?

Sitting in the garden in Essex and the sun feels like I've opened the oven door, after it peaks out from the slight cloud cover.  Breezy too so probably some good surf at the coast 😉

I hear temperatures have hit 45c in places like Croatia this year and there are signs of Italy, France etc getting hotter. In those conditions it's worse than rain with no chance of going out and enjoying the locality.

You don't really need me to tell you that it is derogatory and against the clubs T&Cs

You are correct OP. I hope my daft response doesn't lead to other more offensive posts.

I am am of the opinion that I consider that folk have become over sensitive on behalf of others in this regard. No matter.

I was very sensitive towards returning caravanners as I sat in the queue at Portsmouth, waiting for the Govt's increased security checks to take place.

Seem to remember someone who wishes to be nameless, not so long ago, sacking a load of Border Security bods. Now we haven't enough of them apparently!!!!

It was forty-seven (yes, that's right) degrees on our roof terrace yesterday, and too hot even for me - a sun worshipper.  Stick it out where you are Cody, or move somewhere just a bit further south where the weather map shows a better forecast.

A funny title, not offensive at all. Clearly meant to be numerous . Been offended is a choice people make.

Hope weather improves. Concarneau for us in 7 days. After 10 days in N. yorks where it rained every day we deserve a break!

Been hot and sunny since my last post,  unfortunately there's no surf since either.

Moving further south West Thursday so hopefully more of both undecided

    W

If it gets hot we use a garden shower on the pitch, £20 from most shops, took a spray attachment one year, sat under it with the dogs to cool off!!

Think I'll move up to north Yorkshire with those kind of temperatures laughing and surf Saltburn.

I take it that it would have been ok to mention frogs and rain in the same post if it had been about caravanning in the UK.

I am not sure what useful purpose this thread is providing? Whilst I didn't edit the title I can see why it was. Perhaps a reminder to posters not to start threads where the title is unclear or could be misinterpreted. This thread is now closed.

    Thanks
