Recomendations of sites in Andalusia
Hi All
I've just bought a motorhome and new to touring.
I'm looking at recommendations for good sites in the Andalusia area of Spain, close to either Seville or Granada that will accommodate a large motorhome ( 9 meters long, tri axle ). Looking at going from the end of September for a couple of weeks.
Any recommendations or advice greatly appreciated.
Regards
Mick

Hi BoleroBoy
Thanks for your advice.
I'll be going out on the Brittany Ferries', Portsmouth to Caen route and probably return that way as well.
There will be 2 of us sharing the driving, so it shouldn't be to much of a problem.
For Seville I was thinking of going Irun, Burgos and Salamanca, or to Granada it would be from Burgos, Madrid and down.
It's the last chance for a holiday this year, other than long weekends, so fancy having a run in the new toy.
As much as I would like to do a 9 week tour, I don't think our employers would be to pleased, but perhaps a possibility in the years to come.

Hi
Does it have to be a campsite because in Seville there are at least three really good aires with one on the river with an easy walk into town, have stopped in two of them and both excellent and have stopped on the campsite south of the city at Dos Hermanos called Vilsom which needs a bus to get into town and did stay here with a 7.5 metre van so you should be ok here. Granada could be difficult because most campsites here are old sites so pitches small and on side of a hill, I live here in Spain and my neighbour who has a motorhome says he stays in a aire in Granada which is underground and you can stay the night there believe it or not with electricity. If you look all these up on Camping car in will give you the co-ordinated. Phil

Hi Phil
Thanks for your advice, especially on Granada. We have been looking into Vilsom, seems to be a mix of reviews on length of motorhomes that will fit in there, but will also have a look for the aires in Seville.
