Future member offer suggestions
Hello everyone,
My name is Laura and I look after our member offers.
If you have any suggestions for future member offers (products, services, brands etc.) please let me know and I will try my best to bring them on board.

That might also prevent some members being sent site brochures instead of Great Days Out booklets or receiving three copies instead of one.

Good Suggestion. I didn't know there was a booklet.
Personally if i had a booklet i would be more inclined to look through that and things would jump out that would interest me. Navigating the site, thinking of where to go and waiting for pages to load etc takes to much time.
Sorry to ask but how do i go about getting the book?
Oh and quick suggestion, would be good if you could try and get Land Rover to sign up for special offers like, mercedes, Kia, nissan etc have.

Sadly many "special offers" are not as special as you might hope for, I got my Motor home insurance with a well know company £145 cheaper than the "special" rates on offer from the club brokers.
Just an example but i have found it is always best not to assume a special deal" or "special rate" is not always that special, we have the internet, use it and find out where the real "special" deals are to be found

Hi Laura, possible suggestion for you. Whenever we go away, I always buy plants to fetch home, something for the garden, reminders of places visited. Judging by the number of other outfits I see with pots outside, i am sure I am far from alone in this plant buying! What about contacting some of the Garden Centre chains (Wyevale springs to mind) to see if they would be interested in offering a small discount to members. Most have cafes, and are a good wet day option for tourers! The Duchy Nursery in Lostwithiel is a superb place as well. Owned by HRH!
Good luck, and thank s for your efforts, we always get back a lot more than our membership fee by making good use of the Club offers.

If the Club "does not know what the next generation of explorers will look like" what chance have they got of negotiating offers that will attract them?
Back to front thinking from marketing people (again)!

There is an organisation, called Artfund, which allows members free entry to Art Galleries etc. So anyone visiting a city, particularly a major one, may benefit from some sort of reduced membership fee, or one goes free type of initiative. We would certainly take advantage.

So do some of mine. I no longer do as my arthritis is definitely against it. However both I and my friends might have used a hotel pool etc (and for me the sea when in the med) but I doubt that many whilst on holiday would have sought out a centre to use and carry out what would be a normal activity at home.

Hi EasyT,
Thank you for your suggestion regarding our Great Savings Guide.
The reason the guides are available on request is because we are conscious many members are happy to search for attractions online to help reduce their carbon footprint.
We have actively promoted the guide on our website, magazine, email, social and event leaflets and will continue to strive to increase awareness of this fantastic member benefit.
You can search for attractions and download vouchers online here: https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/membership/great-savings-guide/
If you would like to order a copy the guide please visit our Club Shop: https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-shop/great-savings-guide-2017/

Hi Wildwood,
I am sorry that on this occasion the member offer wasn’t able to meet you exact needs but please don’t let that put you off in the future; we are constantly updating our member offers with new offers almost every month with great savings on a wide range of products and services.

Nice one Laura, I have never bothered with the Member offers before, but happened to look and take advantage of the 'Autowfix' motormover offer. Although my first contact on the phone knew nothing of the price reduction, after he had a chat with his mate it was offered to me, all fitted and happy . Just have to be aware with some of the first contact people on the other end of the phone.
BTW, on the page menu, in bold it says 'Members Offer' withe savins offer below it. The 'Members Offer' looks like a heading and not a link simply because its in bold.
