Quite close to where our son is then, they quite often go to Galston for shopping. Their house is an old farmhouse.
One of my (previous) work colleagues has a sheep farm just outside Galston, and used to buy sheep from the previous owner of our son's house.....it's a small world!
Our sone does not farm the land that came with the house, but instead rents it to a neighbouring farmer, so they get the young cattle and the lambs just over the fence, which the grandchildren love.

One of the roof panels in our conservatory has blown. Trouble is, it's one of the funny shaped ones, so awkward to measure.
It's currently got a few inches of water in it.
I may have to call in a professional (hate doing that!).
Alternative is that I get a goldfish to go in there and make it a feature

Did the web site stop working?
Pleased to hear we are not alone with our popped conservatory glass or visiting glaziers who say they'll be in touch to sort it (never to return!)
I am impressed by EasyTs calorie control efforts. It takes some will power to lose wait doesn't it?! Well done those people.

Fairly nice run back through the Cotswolds, on the fosse way today. Following a flying visit to Bristol to check on my Mums house, which we are in the process of selling. We executed a couple of short diversions, to collect some trout from Bibury Trout Farm and duck confit from Upton Smokery. Both thoroughly recommended if stopping at Burford or Cirencester. So it is trout for tea, and rather large ones at that. They only had one size today (mini whale) except for one Salmon sized one, that would have fed six.
Also met lots of sets of temporary traffic lights for hedge / tree trimming. All the Cotswold councils seem to be spending the last of their budgets before the cut off for nesting birds.

Not just me then !, the web thingy stopping....
Just read a post on the CL topic and it appears that the website was down for a short while and a few fixes finally installed for CL owners, not all of the ones needed but a start at last.
Into Chester today to meet with my current Nemesis, the Killer Driller. Actually painless today as she is flummoxed by what else can be done so I have Anti Biotics to take (after consulting my Kidney Specialist to get the thumbs up) and she's keeping her fingers crossed that somehow that works otherwise its removal of recent cap and investigate the root system at a specialist (make that costly) place in Liverpool.
Anyway treated Mrs.WN and MIL to a nice Italian meal whilst we were in town.

The owner of the company I work for bought a personised number plate last year to celebrate bring in business 30 years, it uses letters from the company name and year. CG16 EDD. Next lorry should be CG17 but not sure yet.

Nice day here today sun out for most of it but a really chilly wind, washing hung out yesterday and today first time this year, much prefer it out in the garden than in the tumbler.
We've had a busy 2 days getting things ready for going away on Thursday, all sorted now so tomorrow should be a fairly chilled day. OH has to go in to town at 8 am to get new tyre's put on his car tomorrow morning but that's about it.
We have hundreds of Crocus and snow drops out in the garden just now, the little daffs are just about ready to open but the taller ones are still tightly in bud.
No pancakes for us tonight as I only have 1 egg left and I'm not buying anymore with us going away, that and the fact that I'm still trying to lose weight. ET maybe you could post some of your 400 cal meals on the food and drink thread, I'm sure they would be welcomed. Its very difficult to count calories so any help is always well received.

Millie, have you tried Aldi's moisturisers, I have been using them for a while, at under £2, very good value too.

Beautiful sunny morning, did a bit of shopping before work. washing from the weekend put out on the line to dry, but weather turned wet so mad dash to get it all in.
Had a message from son to say it had snowed in Manchester.
Hope all repairs to the conservatories go well, would love one but no room.

Bakers2 I have very sensitive skin and most products bring me out in a rash, but haven't had a problem with the Aldi creams, so far.

From your avatar, it doesn't look like you need to lose any weight, you look rather slim already!

They certainly ae Brue. I have to go to the Birmingham Dental Hospital - all to do with tooth wear.
We've decided against pancakes tonight. Instead we went down to Hayle to get some good old Cornish pasties. Tinwheeler would be proud...

I know what you mean! I've got a loose tooth at the top back left hand side. It wobbles every time I chew. The dentist offered to pull it out but I decided to hang on to it. He said it will eventually fall out of its own accord!

I use their Q 10 day cream moisturiser on my face.
I do use E 45 lotion as a body moisturiser though.

My attitude is if it doesn't hurt leave it be.
My parents had their teeth removed dad in his early thirties mum in her forties, not a path I fancy going down 😯.
I'm a product of early NHS dentists paid for work carried out. I reckon as a second tooth popped through it was given an amalgam filling. I wish I could afford and be brave enough, even with my gentle dentist, to have them changed to white fillings.if any of them need tinkering with I insist on white but still plenty of silver in there. No one questioned doctors or dentists then. My mother still won't ask questions! When I take her for her for her skin cancer I'm told before hand, don't ask too much and don't challenge 😂. I take no notice but I get 'the look'.

I often think about it Helen but wondered if there is too much perfume in them. What do you think?

Have a wonderful holiday Tammy. We haven't made it to the Canaries this year for various reasons but hopefully next. Bring back some warm sunshine please

I don't find them over perfumed, and they are cheap so if you don't like them you've not spent a lot of money.
