Stopover site near Dijon
Hi
Can anyone recommend a good stopover site near Dijon? we are heading from Calais to Montpellier, probably won't want to drive much further than Dijon on day 1.
On the way down this year, we stayed at Lac du Liez near Langres, which was ok, but we had a bit of a ropey pitch. Would rather get a bit further down this year.
All advice gratefully received!

There is a site in Dijon itself - Camping du Lac Kir - which is fine for an overnight stop. It's easy enough to find and signposted.
If you want somewhere more rural then Camping Lac de Panthier might fit the bill. It's in the triangle of motorways to the west of Dijon and has a lovely indoor pool area and a restaurant with views over the lake. I'm not sure how busy it will be - and whether they still accept overnight stops. It used to be a popular one night stopover and we've stayed there many times in the past - though not recently. We take an alternative almost toll-free route to the south these days going via Rouen, Chartres, Orleans, and then cross-country to the A75.
Of course this takes longer, but these days we have plenty of time - but not plenty of money, hence avoiding tolls.

Thank you ValDa!
I will have a look at those two sites.
We will be looking for the quickest route south, with two young children in the back.
