No notifications
Since the arrival of the laughable new look website we have had one notification email despite there being at least three active threads?
Secondly the website is extremely slow to load no matter whether I use FF, Chrome or Edge and we are on fibre with average download speed of 56mbps.

Since the launch of the new look site I have had an amazing two emails advising me of updates to threads I am following however by the time I got the email, the thread had bene updated several times over. Also noticed the marketing for the Lexus which is annoying as I opted out of any marketing rubbish.

Had the same happen to me Surfer, only 2 notifications, one on 19th & one on 26th. This site is getting worse instead of better.

I stopped using the "follow" button on the old site because of all the problems. Instead I found it easier to look at my historical posts which were listed down the right hand side.
Now even that has disappeared.
Once the new website came on stream I ticked the "Follow" button on three posts. I have not had one reply.
C'est La Vie.
Hopefully not another fault but I have just typed this reply and hit send and it vanished into cyberspace. No I had not been logged out either. Copy/paste and fingers crossed now.

Hi guys,
We did change the notifications to daily, but clearly we're still having problems with this. I've logged this with the IT team

What is the point of it being a single daily notification? If you get this notification in the afternoon or evening by the time you get back to thread, it is already old news. Another step backwards. I think the IT team really need to get their house in order!

I wouldn't imagine that lack of notifications is high on the list of priorities with so many other things to sort out.
Rochelle has said that important issues are being dealt with first and the 'nice to have' items will follow on.

There shouldn't be but there are. I suspect there are even more than we have identified and bugs ( no not him) will be crawling out of the digital woodwork for the foreseeable future.
