Interestingly we arrived at Baltic Wharf Friday afternoon 23rd Dec. The site Full sign was out on display as expected and the Web site bookings stated there are no vacancies. There were 9 pitches vacant that night and 13 pitches vacant 24th. The web site still says full. Think there should be an overhaul of the whole system which is obviously not communicating with central bookings. My guess is these vacancies didn't all result from non-arrivals or late cancellations and suspect there will be vacancies here New Year also. Enjoy your Christmas and have a very Happy new year.

If you take a cursory glance at the site page as you appear to have done, the grass with awning pitches are full/closed and blocked out in yellow.

If you scroll down to the actual pitches that are available over the period you elude to, then there are vacancies and have been since frenzy day and beyond. The website currently shows vacancies up to and including 29 December from today.

If you then check the late availability facility you will see how many of the 2 types of pitch are available over the same period. I had posted the numbers before the Xmas holidays in another thread. I recall it was something like 6/8/5 for 24/25/26 December.

Fortunately lots of people only look at the first table of pitches on the site page, see that they are 'full', but could be 'closed' due to the season, assume (which is to make an ass of you and me' there are no pitches available and don't bother.

There is a waiting list for the New Year period.
