When i said wet wipes ,i ment toilet wipes, which are flushable

    many make avalibleHappy

They are flushable, in that they disappear down the toilet, but they then cause havoc in the sewage system further on, and even reappear on beaches. Thames Water has a particular problem.

(Ps, please don't take this as criticism, it wasn't intended that wayHappy)

    None takenCool

Aren't they the people that treat sewage and empty the water into a river, then further down extract water for domestic consumption?   If so. they really DO have a problem!

Possibly Nav. The South East remains a mystery to me on the whole, bar the odd visit, and then it is bottled water! I think the wet wipe/ other items down the loo system is country wide though.

Anyone who can remember swimming off some of the beautiful beaches down in Cornwall in the 1980's will relate to sewage problems on beaches. Some of the sights you met at times were sobering. Hence the massive SAS campaign and SW Water having to drastically
clean its act up. Generally very different now thankfully.

Not even discussed the advantages of an angled brush vs a straight brush yet let alone any overseas brushes.

Then there is the materials question, plastic v wood, lovingly crafted v mass produced, cheap throwaway v quality long life expectancy!

Thats an issue to ponder, will the toilet brush outlast British built touring models!Laughing
