It will depend on what system Blaupunkt use. May I suggest removing the card and view on your computer, you may need an SD card adaptor for the micro SD card. If you can see the files it should just be a case of copy and paste into the file where POI's are
installed. I usually download the POI's to the desktop and copy across from there. My suggestion will only work on Windows based systems I imagine?David

If you are able to determine the fields and layout of the stored information as David suggests, you may well end up using a spreadsheet to manage and convert the POI data you have. I’d suggest testing just one or two, to start, to make sure that the format
(and conversion) is correct. You will need to export your spreadsheet data as a CSV or text file and you may need t experiment with the several options available. It can be done from Mac.0 -
www.PoiEdit.com/downloads.htm is a free download. Perfect for converting gps files from one format to another, with ease. Also, editing is also very, very, easy. I tend to correct site positions
when I come accross gross errors.0 -
Just a side thought. I have also uploaded all of the poi files from the CC and CCC to google maps. I can browse everything and get site phone numbers on one map from my pc or tablet. I find this useful for planning purposes. Another feature of google maps,
is that it now supports off line navigation. I've yet to try that out though.0 -
I use the poi on line for planning. But, Google says that off line navigation is available on mobile devices. This is what I have on-line: https://www.google.com/maps/

The one advantage of putting POIs on Google Maps is you can zoom in to look at the lie of the land and other features like the nearest bus stops. I have put individual push pins on Google maps before but never attempted a full set of POIs. I imagine the best way to load them on to Google Maps is to download a CSV file and use a POI format converter to change them to .kml which I think is the Google format.

I don't think Google do off line.
Why don't you like them on your sat nav? I have all mine on my Co-Pilot sat nav and my netbook OS and Navigator Explorer maps. The latter is a bit like MS's defunct Autoroute. There are also MS's Bing maps but again I don't use them very much but they appear to do much the same as Google Maps and I don't think they are available off line either. One thing which might be in favour of using Google or Bing maps is the abolition of roaming charges by 2017.peedee

Just been looking at the user manual
>here< It can be used both on line and off but I guess there is less information in the off line mode. It is in French unfortunately so I am struggling a bit and my translator won't cope with 10 pages.Not much good to you though if they don't do an IOS version.
