Hi,

I am embarking on a long European adventure next year ultimitely ending in and around th Balkan countries. I am struggling to find inusurance that will cover me in these sountries, particuarly Albania and Macedonia. Does anyone have advice on this?

I understand some of these countries I need a green card which I can gain on entry. Is there turth to this or does everything need to be sorted in advance. If so what compnaies will insure me to drive there?

Any advice is welcomed.

Martin

Is it breakdown and medical or either or? Might be worth contacting the Club direct because if they don't cover those countries they may well be able to suggest and alternative.

Green cards are normally issued by your vehicle insurance company before you depart

I have got medical cover and have found a compnay that will provide breakdown cover. Thenthing that I cannot work out yet is my insurance policy for my campervan. I can get fully comp cover in all EU and EEA countries but places such as Macedonia I cannot
get cover for. Do you know of any insurers that will cover in these countries or can I purchase local insurance once at the boarder.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Martin
