Chemical disposal France

Due to some unforeseen circumstances I am marooned with a bug in my brothers garden In Brittany How do I locate a CDP point I could take the cassette to for emptying?  Guemene sur Scorf is nearest town I suppose but I seem to remember signs for MH emptying
on my travels.  Brother is only just out of hospital so traipsing through his house isn't an option and access to his main tank didn't look good last time I tried so an outside location would be best.  If anyone can help I would be grateful!

Nice one DaveFL2.  On the service bollard pictured, the disposal grate for the loo is on the other side of the bollard and should be free of charge.  You usually only need to pay if you want electric or fresh water.

That is awesome of you both thank you so much.  I saw the sign to "Camping" this morning when visiting the vet (dog in pain too!). Then later I thought the MH way would be just the ticket!  CT to the rescue again!

Sorry, its years since we did "over there" in vans, but from some posts from some its touring navania there, but as you are finding out a lot of France for ttouring only opens up between July amd August, is there a public loo nearby that some mv owners tend
    to use?

There are frequently disposal points in the car park / petrol station area of large super markets, or, motorway service areas. Have you tried a google search. I find that google knows almost as much as my wife, and that is a LOT!

It's not a site I need but a CDP.  There are unlikely to be any CC sites within striking distance which is why I was asking the MHs for help.

    Hi,

St Aignan seems fairly near to you.  There is a small aire behind the church which has a basic disposal point that should be accessible 24/7.  I'd suggest taking your own rinse water at this time of year in case the taps are still turned off.

    Hope this helps

Thank you Jake that might just be the one, are you talking the St Aignan north o Pontivy?  South of Mur de Bretagne?  There seem a lot of St As!

i would dig a hole in the garden if it wasn't on rock!

Pippah.....how come you can't just put it down your brother's toilet?

Seems a bit much driving miles to a CDP when you are camping in a house's garden?

Two reasons he is quite sick plus I also have a hefty virus that I mustn't pass on:(.  So trying for minimal aggro.  Blocking their Loo isn't really an option!  While he was in hospital I snuck in and emptied daily but it's a tiny house with upstairs facilities.
But I will go back to that if I can get it emptied soon.

Job done in Rostrenon combined with a Lidl shop only 9 miles so easy done.  Thanks for the help everyone.  That map was the winner.  I can see where MHs win in France!

Further to my original post I discovered yesterday that the Intermarche in Guemene sur Scorff not only still has diesel but an emptying point for chemical loos as well,  Plus a very lovely pair of vets well versed in  Dog Passports.  2 large dogs 53€ yesterday.
Vets de troi vallees I think they are.   I sort of have an interest as brother lives their but those vets went above and beyond for me!Smile
