hi I'm trying to get quote for Euro brake down cove for my car and van, on the form it asked for model Key!! Any know what this is or where I can find it the van ic buccaneer Caribbean

    Do they not mean either model (which is Buccaneer Caribbean) or more likely chasis number which is probably egraved on the A Frame or you will have it with your docs eg CRIS certificate.    You may like to look at ADAC the German equivalent of AA, look at Dianne's 'Joys of European Caravanning' (ADAC is 109 euros for car/caravan + lots more).

    If you're getting a quote for Red Pennant, then in our case our caravan is a Swift Speedbird 490 - and Swift goes in the 'Make', Speedbird in the 'Model' and 490 in the 'Key'.

    If your caravan doesn't have a 'number' at the end, then make one up!  Usually the number reflects either the internal length or the number of berths and the particular layout.

    Trevor, ADAC cheaper than RP and you do not need a UK breakdown cover as that is what it is - full europe breakdown including repatriation!  Have a look at Dianne's blog.
