So, how can we make it more exciting ???

Perhaps tigerfish would like us to argue with each other or have a good moan about something or someone
It could be arranged.

No frost here overnight, sunny late morning then lots of rain. Only about 1 degree here now, so big, soggy snow flakes now falling.
New bits for shower arrived this morning......that was quick!.......so have now got them fitted, shower now like new.
Cut fabric for next pair of curtains for DD, so OH should be starting on the sewing tomorrow.
I think I have figured out how the drawer kit goes together, found instructions on line so have printed them up, also watched the short video, which was interesting but not particularly informative.
Next week I am due at DD's rented out flat to fit the new smoke, heat and CO alarms, then the following week have the legally required electrical inspections on both their flats to attend.

We're in the Worthing town centre collecting an order with the Christmas lights switched on tonight. Plenty of people around to enjoy the start of the festive season! The pubs look busy!

Well Millie - we have tried that, but unfortunately we get clobbered by those who reside above us, I agree, some spark is needed to generate a lively conversation but it is not allowed.

At the risk of boring TF, we have been minding one of the grandchildren today. She was off school suffering from laryngitis, I have never seen
her so quiet. On the plus side we have watched three films, so a nice relaxing day.0 -

Thank goodness for that. This is the friendly thread. No arguements just friendly chat. I make no apology if people find that boring.

I went for the last set of blood tests before my knee operation on Tuesday next week. I had an early appointment which I rearranged when I saw the weather forecast yesterday. In the event the weather was worse later in the morning than it had been earlier.
Bitterly cold with frequent snow showers . That sounds like a forecast doesn't it?0 -
Some of the houses in areas that we have delivered to, have already got their Christmas lights flashing. Nice to see some lights to brighten up the dark evenings.
Now we're back in the town centre collecting a Macdonalds order.

Whilst I like to sort things out for Christmas myself early I think it's too early for decs and lights. Sadly we seem to have so much hype and early decorating and lights they are removed long before 12th night. It is actually the Christmas Festival from
Christmas and Epiphany, the lead up to Christmas is Advent and the period of waiting. Rant over, sorry folks. Do you think TF might think this exciting??Glad it cheers up the dark nights

Off Christmas shopping with daughter tomorrow. I am just looking forward to spending the day with her and catching up on the news. That is as exciting as my life gets but it suits me.

I did something most unusual today.......went into town with Mrs H!
The weather was wet and miserable, some sleat and we could see snow on the Pennines.
Went to M&S for a coffee with our vouchers from the M&S Club thingy. Bought a pair of keks for me in the 20% off sale.......I suppose the exciting part is finding out what length they are this time, because they seem to vary within a given size by anything up to about 2 inches at M&S these days.
And the most exciting part was when Mrs H thought she had lost her credit card (turned up in the depths of her handbag somewhere.......and a slightly heated discussion about the enormous contents of said item......my, how we laughed!)
Then a trip to the supermarket and my wonderment about why it's necessary to walk up and down the same aisle so many times and to back-track so often???!!

Not sure I will be able to take the excitement on offer tomorrow. After breakfast of eggs and bacon whilst listening to Sounds like the 60s it will be off to Cley Spy to continue the 'will I or won't I' buy a new telescope? Have to make sure I take blood
pressure tablets first thing0 -
Arrived in North Norfolk and set up by 1230hrs. After lunch went to the Sculthorpe Community wildlife park. Really exciting with plenty around. Now having a couple of scoops before supper.
Have a lovely time Oneputt
