Then a trip to the supermarket and my wonderment about why it's necessary to walk up and down the same aisle so many times and to back-track so often???!!

Well the reason I have to go up and down the aisles is to find MrTG, he has the uncanny habit of disappearing  in a supermarket and just turning up as I've finished.Wink

I think the eldest grandaughter will be a good one to shop with in a few years, she's an apprentice shopper at the mo and doing well Laughing

know what you mean Tammy, I often find myself standing in the middle of the supermarket with absolutely no idea where OH has wandered off to . It's why I hang onto the trolley or I'd lose the shopping too! (Mrs. Steve)

Almost universally you misunderstand me!   Yes I do find this thread boring, but I accept that that's just me. I love proper energetic debate. I stress not rude, not insulting, just decent informed debate.  There is nothing wrong with that, - it extends
    and develops the mind.

Obviously , the majority of you don't see it that way. And that's fine.  Forgive me if I don't join in on this thread any more, but I will continue to engage on other more interesting subjects.

    Regards

    TF

I got up at eight o'clock this morning and opened the blinds to a lovely sunny frosty morning. The ground was white with frost and frost all over the car. There's not a single cloud in the sky as I type this. I think we're going to have to make the most
of it because the weather forecast indicates wet and windy weather with gale force winds over the next few days.

We've got our storm straps in place on the awning plus guy ropes. So hopefully, it can withstand the forthcoming weather.

Not sure I will be able to take the excitement on offer tomorrow.  After breakfast of eggs and bacon whilst listening to Sounds like the 60s it will be off to Cley Spy to continue the 'will I or won't I' buy a new telescope?  Have to make sure I take blood
    pressure tablets first thingWink

Write your comments here...The telescopic lenses on your camera seem to be doing pretty well, Oneputt, from the photos I've seen!

I did something most unusual today.......went into town with Mrs H!

The weather was wet and miserable, some sleat and we could see snow on the Pennines.

Went to M&S for a coffee with our vouchers from the M&S Club  thingy. Bought a pair of keks for me in the 20% off sale.......I suppose the exciting part is finding out what length they are this time, because they seem to vary within a given size by anything
up to about 2 inches at M&S these days.

And the most exciting part was when Mrs H thought she had lost her credit card (turned up in the depths of her handbag somewhere.......and a slightly heated discussion about the enormous contents of said item......my, how we laughed!)

Then a trip to the supermarket and my wonderment about why it's necessary to walk up and down the same aisle so many times and to back-track so often???!!

Just think Ian if you had gone to a bespoke tailor you could of had the excitement of an inside leg measurementSurprisedSticking Tongue Out

Too much excitement for our local town, Oneputt!! Laughing

Another afternoon and evening at work today and if it continues to be as busy as it has been, it will mean extra money for us to spend for Christmas. My wife has in mind a new pair of warm slippers, the existing slippers are not warm enough for her feet. She reckons there was enough money in yesterday's tips to pay for them!

So it looks like we'll be going shopping again soon!

Our caravan is positioned with the front lounge window facing south so that when the sun shines, we get it streaming through the front window all day. The awning is facing east so that it warms up when the sun rises but goes cold when the sun goes over in the afternoon, unfortunately. However, as we are out doing deliveries in the afternoon and evening, it doesn't matter. The important thing is to get the sun in the morning when we're at home.

As I type this the sun is streaming through the front window so it's lovely and warm sitting here in the lounge whilst the bedroom and bathroom are somewhat cooler but that suits me because I don't want it too hot when I'm lying on the bed having my afternoon nap in between deliveries!

Where we are sited, we have a hill on the western side of us and unfortunately the sun goes behind the hill by 13:45 so that it feels as though the sun is setting by 2 p.m. and then it starts getting quite cold on our pitch. So we tend to rely on the Alde heating after that time.

We're off out tonight to a music session, I think we get some food too and OH is taking a big supply of home made cider. Hope the bad weather stays away til we get home, not easy driving down dark narrow lanes at this time of year. Smile
