Packing up tonight to go back home . Always mixed feelings, too much to do, not enough time.

Beauitful autumn day here.  Decided to go over to Burghely before it closes for the winter and our HHA membership (a Christmas present last year) runs out.  Had a look round the house and then a lovely walk in the Sculpture Park and grounds.  Gorgeous day
    for it.

Hope your jaw gets better soon brue.  Sounds painful.  Also hope the house and piano move went well.

Hope your weather improves soon TG.

Are younot going to join HHA again then? You know that you can get a discount being a CC member, don't you. We've been members for years and use it on most of our trips.

If we are not given HHA membership for christmas this year we might well pay for it ourselves with the CC discount nellie. We have really enjoyed it this year. So many wonderful places to vist.

Still dry in Cumbria, but the forecast isn't too good for tomorrow when we move on to New Abbey. Pleasant walk from the van along the River Eamont to Eamont Bridge to view "King's Arthur's Cave" and Mayburg Henge ancient monuments.

We certainly use ours, and especially good for those really expensive Big Houses and for gardens one would not normally think of visiting.

Yes nellie,  amongst others we have been to Holkham Hall, Castle Howard and Burghley House and the Garden of  Surprises (more than once with various grandchildren) all of which would have been very expensive. Really good value for money.

Just got up! It's been raining a lot. Can't help waking up to the patter of rain on the caravan roof! Just having my first cup of tea now.

The rain has stopped here now and I can see some patches of blue sky through the roof light in the caravan lounge area!

Just home after a lovely weekend at Strathclyde Park CC its nice going away in October and seeing all the autumn colours. We are thinking of changing the motorhome over the next year or so, so yesterday we went to Knoepark Motorhomes to have a look but nothing
interested us but we did have a nice lunch in their cafe. Possibly going away again next weekend but not decided yet. Hope everyone else is enjoying their weekend

Started out dry but now its raining again. Got Mum today she's busy doing some colouringSmile I've been up in my craft room sorting out all my
bits for Christmas, must get on and make some cards for the local shop, they will need them by the end of the month to go on sale. OH has been out in his shed building his new shelving units, he's back in now as its getting cold, needs to get his heater going
    I think.

Up at the crack of dawn to get to the airport for 9:15 am . Finally at 3pm they announced that the flight was cancelled until midday tomorrow. Everyone went into headless chicken mode so we went to find a really nice hotel looking out at the bay of Kotor
and look forward to the fight with easy jet sometime over the next few weeks.

This afternoon is a dramatic change in weather since early this morning. Lovely blue sky, sunshine and the golden glow of Autumn colours. How lovely!

It's been a peaceful afternoon. Only one lunchtime delivery to do. So I was able to have my afternoon nap after which we had tea and chocolate cake.

Just as I finished my last post, a KFC order came through. Then as soon as we completed that, we got another KFC order which we're collecting at the moment from the town centre KFC.
